I would not stay here again. On the day of my check-in, around midnight, the hotel informed me that they had no room available for me. I was already getting ready to leave for my flight when I received the message, and I ended up flying to Nicaragua without knowing where I would be staying that night. This was especially frustrating since I had made my reservation back in December for a wedding. Eventually, the hotel was able to accommodate me by the time I arrived, but only because someone from the wedding advocated on my behalf. Without that, it felt like the hotel was prepared to leave me without a place to stay. When I arrived at 2:30 pm, my room was still not ready, and there was no apology for the stress they caused during my travel. They offered a “complimentary” welcome drink, which was already included with my Expedia reservation. The amenities are very outdated. The spa experience was poor and felt unprofessional. Music was played from a phone, and they didn’t even have Spotify Premium—advertisements interrupted the massage. I could also hear staff chatting loudly outside the room. That said, the massage itself was good. Kudos to the masseuse, who clearly did her best. The issue is with the hotel for not providing the proper environment or resources for their staff. Overall, after all the stress leading up to the trip, the stay was not worth it.

Deben mejorar el internet en las habitaciones, el agua de la ducha no salía con potencia y había momentos en que se iba totalmente, agua caliente a veces, otras veces agua tibia o fría. Television funcionaba a veces, otras simplemente no había conexión. Escogimos una habitación de mayor tamaño y condiciones y nos dieron una inferior a la que pagamos. Mucho que mejorar, lo rescatable fue el personal que en todo momento fue cordial y amable.

The room was nice and big. Had issues with water flowing out of the bathtub into the bathroom floor and I advised the staff. It was a recurrent issue since it was due to the water faucet’s position and splashing the wall and into the curves of the tub. I did get a “smart” reaction when I informed the front desk though.

Hotel limpio, servicio excelente, su cocina muy sabrosa todo lo que consumía y habitacion confortable. Solo el detalle de que el sonido del pasillo se escuchaba todo y es algo molesto. Y en la terraza de la piscina los tornillos de fuera. Uno de ellos me lastimó el pie. Pero es un gran staff atendiendo y si los recomiendo.

Never found the spa. Pool area was in use the first day and cold the second day.

The staff are very helpful and kind. They understood my Spanish was limited. I really enjoyed my stay.

Very courteous staff,indeed, the room had a great view, don get rooms with the sunken bath tub,its a hassle in or out,see yor bathroom before agreeing,rest expensive like the Miami intercontinental breakfast is included and ver good.

Breakfast was excellent. Especially the Nica breakfast.

The pictures reflect how the property was years ago. The maintenance has fallen off but the staff was great.

Staff is always respectful & friendly. Food is amazing & they have a new menu with incredible choices. Rooms are comfortable but we experienced mosquitoes both nights. We appreciate everyone at Contempo!

It really was a pleasant surprise for Nicaragua, super clean great staff. I just wish people would stop using fragrance.

Awesome and spotless and great service and food.

When we first arrived they put us in a room that was in the older part of the hotel, the smell was horrific, the hotel did not seem busy, so we asked they move us rooms which they did. The second room was better. Most of the staff was good, but the front desk personnel not so much. The bed was comfortable but figuring out the hot water took patience. Will not stay at this hotel again.

Terrible experience – absolutely unacceptable cleanliness This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was extremely dirty when I arrived. The bed sheets were filthy and torn, clearly not washed or replaced after the previous guest. On top of that, the bedspread was stained, which is completely disgusting and unacceptable for any hotel. In the end, we were moved to another room, but that does not excuse the poor conditions we initially experienced.
