Hotel staff's hospitality was good impressive Electricity was not stable

Tea and coffee well stocked in room and staff super friendly and helpful.

Sadly the pool has still not reopened.

The rooms were spotless, super comfortable and the amenities were as you’d expect from 5 star. The laundry and press service is excellent. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is a treat. Everything from Nigerian to continental breakfast. Range of juices, fruits and hot beverages. I dined in a few nights and did room service was very happy with the service and food selection. My preferred hotel in Ikoyi and will be returning

Yes I was very impressed

Beddings need to be completely changed as every nights sleep gave me allergies the morning after. The place needs thorough fumigation

This is my second time & it’s still a very nice hotel. Well situated and in a quiet neighborhood. I did not use the restaurant so I cannot comment on food. Get a higher floor room facing the pool but not the 4th floor in raining season I could hear everything & my A/C made too much cranking noise but my room was changed thanks to the duty manager. The staff were most courteous & helpful. I would stay again.

It was okay. It’s not as well maintained as it used to be

I had an excellent stay at The Wheatbaker. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with spotless bathroomswhich is always a must for me. Breakfast was lovely, offering a good selection of fruits, continental options, and African-style dishes. I especially appreciated being able to order fresh coffee in the mornings. The restaurant food was so good that I often chose to dine in the hotel most evenings. Room service is available 24 hours, and the bar is fantastic with creative cocktails and a great wine list. The location is convenient and in a nice, walkable neighborhood, making it easy to get around. Most of all, the staff were exceptional—friendly, respectful, and genuinely welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

Wheatbaker is a nice, thoughtful hotel. The room I stayed was clean and I was quite satisfied with the room However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations and so there was no access to the pool or gym. The front desk seems to have been moved to accommodate the reno going on. Overall excellent time was had during my stay. I will be back for sure and highly recommend.

Unfortunately the Wheatbaker is not what it was! I was not notified beforehand of extensive renovations which have closed the gym, pool, spa and a dining room plus much of the reception area. The attention to detail in the service has gone and the rooms are now tired. The communal areas had the a/c turned off and I was told this was because the staff were too cold! Never mind the guests!

The staff! I was treated like a princess. Very courteous. Very helpful and not one frown on their faces. They even helped fix a wardrobe malfunction I had. Worth every penny!

Unfortunately there is a construction ongoing which means there is no pool, no gym and no spa. The hotel is tired and needs a refresh of all of its rooms. My room had a broken and beaten up fridge, marks everywhere, not clean. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Cleaning is very superficial. The breakfast is some of the worst I have experienced in Nigeria. The only thing is that the price reflects the quality which is the only saving grace
