Hyggelig personale og flott frokost.

This was the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in. I hopped on the Metro from Oslo City then walked the 10 mins in an amazing Spring mist which gave a fairytale feel to the hotel (to others it may have been horror movie esque as long roads, can't see very far etc but each to their own). After checking in the spotless room (check in was unbelievably straightforward) and marvelling in the serenity of the peace and quiet I checked out the pool, gym and sauna which are all very well maintained and just added to the overall experience. The area surrounding the hotel has trials and forests aplenty so if you're hiking, base yourself here as the views are outstanding even on the metro journey up too! Can not recommend the hotel enough!

An amazing place with a fascinating history and incredibly beautiful surroundings. The staff were mixed - some excellent, some medium. The restaurant is an beautiful environment with views of the forest on 3 sides. The food there is fine but extraordinarily expensive, e.g. $60 for an open face sandwich.

Ihana, herttainen ja kaiken puolin upea hotelli. Paljon iloa silmälle ja yhden hengen huone oli todella ihana. Uima-alla ja sauna mukavat päivän jälkeen. Junalla pääsi perille ihan näppärästi, kävely asemalta hotellille n. 10 min.

Hieno paikka ja sijainti, paratiisi lähes keskellä kaupunkia.

A dream of a retreat. A 35 minute metro journey from Oslo S station and a 10 minute walk reveals a stunning secluded hotel that hides many annexes. The views and trails close to the hotel are astounding and the silence……is deafening - just the birdsong to listen to - heaven. The expert staff are knowledgeable and efficient in their responses and the many rooms - I am sure we didn’t find them all - are all clean and comfortable with many aspects of the hotel’s history on show. This is a fantastic place to stay. The breakfast is plentiful and with much choice and some mornings the cooked choices could have been warmer. A minor criticism for what is one of our standout stays. You even get a spectacular sunset in the staff car park around the back if you are not fortunate enough to be allocated one of the rooms to the left as you walk down the main hall away from the reception area.

Veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende personalet. Fin og eventyrlig plass,med mye historie,fin kunst og behagelig atmosfære. Fine tur muligheter og deilig å kunne komme tilbake og ta et bad i basseng og badstu. Frokosten var helt grei.

Et herlig sted! Og du sparer penger på å booke direkte ift å bruke Hotels.com. Men du samler stempler. Basseng koster to hundre kroner ekstra per snute. Topp frokost

Man skal selv gøre opmærksom på at man vil have rengøring. Det er lidt usædvanligt.

Kjempe koselig sted, med hyggelige annsatte. Flott beliggenhet, god frokost. Gode senger, masse flotte møbler, hyggelig å sitte ved peisen.

Rummet rent, maten god, servicen bra, utsikten oslagbar, poolen perfekt. Saknades endast handdukar för när man skulle till poolen. Mycket trevlig personal.

Naast de mooie rustige omgeving waar het hotel zich bevindt, had ik een fantastische uitzicht vanuit mijn kamer maar ook vanuit het restaurant op de bergen en heuvels van dit mooie gebied. Personeel was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Huiskamer gevoel, erg gezellig en een uitstekende startlocatie voor diverse mooie wandelingen!

Hej Frukosten var utmärkt, förrutom att baconen var lite för hårt stekta för min smak.
