The host is nice and polite. Unfortunately the check in inspections were sent to me on the day check in, which I did not have time to read.

Difficult to locate

No information provided about checkin process. We had to wait an hour until the host finally answered his phone. Otherwise, the property was as expected. Not perfect condition but good value for what we paid.

An old house turned into a guesthouse so a bit damp smelling. The info encouraged not to open window. The washing machine did not seem to work and it had old dirty water in it. So I was unable to wash and left with dirtier clothing that was wet

Mooi pand met veel achterstallig onderhoud

Väldigt trevlig man som tog emot och bodde i huset. Huset var slitet men rent(lite dammigt). Dock var min säng sönder så jag låg i ett hål och vaknade flera gånger.

Helt greit rom til en rimelig kostnad for den som kun trenger et sted å sove eller ønsker å bo rimelig med selvhushold. God kommunikasjon og detaljert instruks for inn og utsjekk. Kommer gjerne tilbake !

Un séjour agréable dans une ancienne maison charmante et typique. Les transports sont facilement accessibles ainsi que quelques commerces et la balade le long de la marina est très agréable.

Bra läge, nära både centrala stan och Bygdöya. Personlig atmosfär, både inredningen och relationen med andra gäster. Bra utrustning i köket, ordning och reda på sånt som gäster vill lämna och sånt man vill förvara i kylen. I badrummet tvättmaskin att låna. Överallt böcker på både norska och engelska - kul att kunna låna. Praktiska detaljer: Dörrtrycket till det rum vi bodde i var löst så vi hade lite problem både att öppna och stänga. Dörren till dusch och toa bredvid kärvade så mycket att vi väcktes när någon öppnade eller stängde. Om dessa detaljer fixas så rekommenderar vi stället å det varmaste!

Beautiful house. Once you have the instructions, everything is clear and understandable but we had A LOT of trouble getting the instructions. Over all stay was nice.

Jorn was great and place was nicely located, highly recommend

Artig sted å overnatte. God seng flere bad. Flott kjøkken. Mye antikk i huset. God service. Veldig enkelt og kort vei til kollektiv transport.

Thumbnail photo is no relation with this hotel. I received a email that says check-in is from 6pm.Self check in style but room key was not in the key box. Toilet and shower is share. No trash bin in the room.

Pros: The place is good for the price we paid. Its a beautiful old house and in close proximity to the main places in the city. The host or owner of the place is very communicative and friendly. Cons: No attached/private bathroom

A beautiful old house with a lot of history and atmosphere, but nicely renovated and fully equipped. I stayed in the yellow room number 5. It has everything you need and you can also use the shared kitchen. I arrived at night but the check-in process was easy and I had received good instructions beforehand. Jorn the owner of the house is very friendly and communicates well and quickly. Very helpful and pleasant. The location is perfect and very well served by public transport. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Oslo!
