Rude staff, no response over message when they say they are ‘available at all times’, shower didn’t work, room wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival

Hostel rooms looked NOTHING like the photos and were way too small, cramped, and damp. Very overpriced for what it was. The only redeeming factor was the deck.

Well maintained premises and friendly staff.

Un día no nos arreglaron la habitación, tuvimos que pedir que la arreglaran y habíamos estado todo el día fuera. Adicional en el restaurante no dejaban cargar la cuenta en la habitación, esto es incómodo porque toca estar pagando por cada consumo que se hacíamos.

El hotel es muy bonito, construido sobre el mar y ofrece unas vistas espectaculares. El personal es muy agradable y se ofrecen bebidas y comidas muy ricas y a un precio razonable. El desayuno muy rico, y tienes alternativas suficientes para variar todos los días. La habitación está decorada con gusto y las camas eran muy cómodas. Repetiríamos sin dudar, totalmente recomendable

Hôtel avec une vue splendide. Chambre spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée. Carte du petit déjeuner diverse et savoureuse avec un bémol concernant la qualité du jus d’ananas imposé avec chaque petit déjeuner inclus avec la chambre. Toutefois, le service à table et l’accueil à la réception ne sont pas au rendez-vous. A noter, qu’il y a actuellement de gros travaux bruyants à côté de l’hôtel. En conclusion, Bambuda, qui appartient au même groupe que Palmar Beach Lodge, est un très bel hôtel mais avec un service qui n’est pas à la hauteur, tout comme son grand frère Palmar.

Un lugar a unas 5 cuadras del centro, lo cual le da mayor privacidad. Las habitación que dan hacia el mar tienen una vista espectacular, todo el personal es muy amable y se puede accesar al mar desde el hotel o tener los transportes en lancha en el mismo hotel. El desayuno sumamente bueno. Una joya en Bocas.

Mi primera vez en Bocas del Toro y todos en el hotel hicieron nuestra estadía súper especial 100% recomendado, desde Carmen, Suly, Pablo y Azael, la comida excelente los desayunos súper y los happy hours y el ambiente de la tarde extraordinario

The restaurant exhaust fan made the room 12 vibrate. From 7:30 am -11:00pm it is impossible to sleep till restaurant kitchen closes.

Cheap ploys to con tourists. Breakfast is $8 if you purchase at checkin only ( read fine print). Show up at breakfast and pay $20 . Happy hour is 4-7 pm - only sodas and 1 cocktail is half price.

Lovely ocean view suite which was nice, quiet and peaceful to watch the days go by while working. Although early check-in wasn't available, there is luggage storage and access to the common lounge/restaurant area which was a beautifully decorated space to enjoy with the water swing, floaties and access to swim right from the deck. The front desk team were extremely friendly and helpful with checking in on stay and providing local information with tours. I loved that there was filtered water available to guests to reduce plastic bottles. Although one night the water cut-off but this is common on the island as they depend on rain so use mindfully. The included breakfast was also nice with international vegetarian options. Would not hesitate to stay here again, although it is a bit on the higher end if wanting the overwater rooms.

Very nice hotel with very good food. Came back here to eat after check out. A nice hang out place.
