Hotel was nothing special but sufficient. A/C was good breakfast good. Staff overall was very good. The pool wasn't so nice. Overall nice experience of the Hotel.

Air conditioner not well .& wash room water not come to well

Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, der angegebene Balkon ist allerdings nur für Klimaanlagen und ohne Zugang! Personal von Reinigung, über Empfang bis Portier stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, wahre Künstler in der Nutzung von ÜbersetzungsApps. Ein highlight die Rooftopbar, die zwar vom Design und Mobiliar mal Auffrischung gebrauchen könnte, aber mit grandioser Sicht und Drinks, die besser, aber nur halb so teuer sind wie die in der Altstadt, besticht! Das Frühstück landestypisch, nicht wirklich abwechslungsreich aber gut zum satt werden.

The property is good overall. The location is close to most major attractions.The lobby looks nice, spacious and clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and speaks little English but was able to use translation.Free parking in the garage which is safe and secured. The room is spacious. AC is very good. Free breakfast! There's rooftop pool and bar. There are 2 things we do not like: (1) There's no hairdryer (not in the room, not at the lobby); (2) The room key has to be reset everyday but we was not notified about it. Everytime we came back to the room, we could not open the door and had to come down to the lobby. That's why I gave it 4 stars.

Adequate room, the staff was amazing and despite language barriers, we were able to achieve everything we wanted to it’s in a good location and a shuttle was provided for $30 to go to the airport. We did not use the pool or the shops nearby as it was later in the evening when we arrived and we were quite tired. We did go to the little restaurant. The food was very good and our waiter was exceptional.

Room was a good size. More basic but clean. Breakfast was limited, but eggs, pancakes and fruit. Nice roof top pool. The area around was not great, but short walk to water and old town. Very slow elevator.

Adequate, comfortable bed, quite noisy, unsafe to go out at night. Be prepared to use uber or cab after dark especially women. Front desk staff not so friendly but the doormen, especially Whyber, will go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of. Had paid for 6 days left after 3 to go to a better place despite the loss of $$.

an adequate room at a budget price. clean enough and quiet enough with decent bed. no frills and the internet was weak and no english spoken.

Keine Handtücher, keine Zahnputzgläser. Personal im Frühstücksrestaurant nicht wirklich freundlich. Frühstück ok, aber von der Menge her wenig. Poolbar und Rezeption sehr gut.

The welcoming by the receptionist staff was was underwhelming. They did not even provide me with a wifi password. The wifi was very slow. I was barely able to call and secure an uber. If you need to do work, this is not the place to stay for that! On the good aspects, the bed was great. I had a good sleep. While the building is dated, is needing maintenance and care

Nice clean, safe hotel in a great location.

The hotel is 2 stars at best. Room provided the bare minimum although the towels were soft and fluffy. No security box, no hair dryer, no dresser, etc..

The problem was when I arrived they did not honor my reservation. They informed me that the people before me had a problem with their tour bus breaking down. Therefore they offered to send me to some flea bag hotel for the night. Outside the front door you can smell the open sewer. It’s a good price!

Hotel Caribe is an older hotel in Panama City in a convenient location that is very close to must see areas. The metro (bus and train) and lots of taxis close by and reliable. Supermarket one block away and 24hrs. Most staff are friendly however most don't speak English so difficult to communicate. One staff member spoke English, and he was extremely courteous and friendly. He made us feel comfortable. One staff member at the front door with a bald head was rude and impolite. He had no manners and not friendly at all. Housekeeping and front desk were friendly and helpful. Because it is an older hotel that are no modern comforts like a refrigerator or microwave in the hotel rooms. Also, the rooms have older air-condition units, make noise, but it is not overbearing. However, there is hot water so that was good and also an elevator which moves a bit slow but still reliable. This experience is still disturbing to me: our toilet got clogged and the impolite staff member came up to unclog it with the plunger. After he unclogged it, I heard him put on the shower and I am assuming he cleaned the plunger that was just in the toilet with toilet paper and human waste in the shower area. Then he calls my son into the bathroom and I come as well and he is like "Mister, no put any paper in the toilet put toilet paper you use in waste basket". He then proceeds to take the hotel hand we are using to wash his hands. I went to supermarket bought cleaning supplies and cleaned up

Todo estuvo bien lo malo que segun especificaciones el desayuno era "Buffet" y solo era UN DESAYUNO y un menu repetitivo porfavor deben aclarar eso para futuros clientes que visiten el lugar

I didn’t have a refrigerator which I needed to store my medicine! They didn’t have one available and I can tell they went and bought a brand new one!!

The hotel is located near to the malls and other places of interest. The surrounding area was not so sophisticated but I appreciated the large supermarket close by. I didn’t have much problem with noise which was limited mainly to the motor vehicles traversing the road. Taking the uber was easy and cost effective. My room was very clean and I got room service every day. I really appreciated the ladies who took care of the room, the were very professional and courteous. The lobby staff were helpful and professional. Check in and check out was very easy. The breakfast served was very delicious every morning.
