Great service. Location was wonderful. No heater in the room but had good down blankets on the beds. Older rooms but clean. There are common areas to hang out in with others but a 10p noise rule. Allowed us to fill up water bottles with filtered water. The only con I have would be that the reception person told us that they could not use American credit cards and we had to pay in cash. No problem but would have liked to know in advance to ensure we had enough cash. Would stay again.

The room is made of wood. So it's warm and cozy, they don't have heating but it doesn't matter as the room is warm.

Bel hébergement, chambre confortable et grande. La literie est très bonne. J’ai apprécié l’environnement tranquille près de tout, mais juste assez loin pour ne pas entendre la circulation et la jungle touristique. Située dans une ruelle inca magnifique. Le personnel est très gentil, si le propriétaire est présent, c’est le seul à parler anglais, tous les autres sont unilingues espagnols, mais très bienveillants.

We arrived after mid-night, check-in was smooth. Host Caly was fantastic, he gave us a tour of the property the next morning.

So welcoming from the start. Greeted w limonade from the owner's son and provided w a comfortable stay. Beautiful view from the roof. Great choice for the area

Nice spot for a stay over on the way to Machu pichu

The property is well located, near the central plaza where all the action is. The view from the rooftop is also great. Issue for us was the room not being ready on time, the bed, and the water not working for our first 30 min stay.

I selected the property randomly because we lived here just for preparing Inca Trail. But surprisingly, the house owner is the expert in the Inca Trail. We had a very nice conversation. I highly recommend this property for so nice house owner. Gracias!

Tres pitoresque et calme, les propriétaires très aimables et bienveillants.

We greatly appreciated the assistance Mary provided in helping us get settled and find a good restaurant. This is an older property but the bathrooms have had a simple update. There are lots of small staircases to climb. The double bed was against the wall on one side making it difficult for one person to get in out of bed. The biggest concern was there was no hot water in the shower. Because we had an early train to catch, there was not time for us to notify the hostel or change rooms.

Be prepared to be cheated since the beginning. The hotel does not take cards, opposite to what Expedia says. When we arrived they made us register and then dropped the bomb that we couldn't pay cash, so we wanted to leave, then they said... we will figure it out, just go to the room and relax... few hours later another person was there to say... no cards and pay cash. This is 2019, and if the shops in the local market can take cards, a 'hotel' should be able to do so. The second issue, the room was quite different to what the Expedia pictures show, with the bathroom full of mold and the ceiling coming off. There are zero 'amenities' not even a bar of soap, and they send you to buy that on the market. To make things worse, you need to tell them in advance that you want to shower... so they turn the hot water on.... terrible. With many other places to stay around here, might as well avoid this dump and stay at a nicer place that is honest and clean.

Customer service was great! they let us check in after we settled in, the area was quaint and cozy. They had a terrace that had a View of all of ollantaytambo. Shopping was reasonably priced compared to machu picchu. Restaurant happy hour was entertaining. The staff were very informative, made us scrambled eggs, coffee, tea. Super accomdative. Would highly recommend!

Un excelente Hostal, muy buena ubicación con el centro de Ollanta, lugar limpio habitaciones excelente. nos dieron hasta desayuno siendo que nuestro tren partía muy temprano. Muy recomendable para descansar y disfrutar de la ciudad.

lugar algo viejo, sabanas olian a polvo... se termino el agua caliente mientras estaba duchandome, simplemente dejo de salir agua
