La estadía fue muy buena, el personal a cargo muy servicial y dispuesto a facilitar en lo que se necesite. La limpieza del hotel y las habitaciones fue excelente.

One of the best hotels we stayed at. The staff were very accommodating in every way possible. Susan and another young girl (breakfast) and a young man (I think Jefferson-worked from 4pm) were the best. Even the owner ( I think William was his name-was fantastic as well as his wife. He even walked with me to a corner store to help me. They could consider taking MasterCard.

This is a very well located hotel. Very clean and very quiet. There is a computer on each floor and Wi - Fi through out the hotel. The staff was very friendly and spoke a little English.
The hotel helped to call a travel agency that they had several brochures for at the front desk. The price was very good and the guides spoke very good English.
The hotel will call a taxi for you and recommend restaurants in the city.
We had a late departure by bus for Guayaquil and they let us stay past the regular check out time till 8 PM. A very nice touch, and they were not that busy.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Trujillo.

Budget hotel within a 10 min walk of the central town square and across the road from combi buses to Chanchan and Huanchaco (1.5 sol). Showers hot, wifi good, basic breakfast (as expected), staff universally lovely. Room a little dated but provided everything needed. Very happy with my stay.

This is nice basic hotel with very friendly staff on the edge of the downtown area. a fan kept the room tolerable, as Trujillo gets pretty hot. the rooms are clean, and the staff is very helpful with information, taxis and holding luggage. This was a quick overnight stay enroute to another destination. accomodations are basic, and this is an excellent choice in high season when other hotels are overbooked.

El hotel está a pocas cuadras del centro de la ciudad pero en una zona sin tanta bulla. Está bien ubicado y conectado.La habitación estaba impecable y recién remodelada. La seña de internet fue buena pero podría mejorar. El desayuno sencillo. Por el precio podrían ofrecer un desayuno mejor. La atención muy correcta y cordial.

Ziemlich in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel.Das Haus schmückt sich mit 3 Sternen, hat aber nur2 Sterne verdient. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Preis von 60 Dollar dieNacht ist happig. Das Frühstück ist unterdurchschnittlich einfach.

La primera noche, nos dio un cuarto en el frente del edificio (muy ruidoso a causa de la calle), la tele no funcionó, tampoco la ducha. Pero la segunda noche nos dio un cuarto tranquilo con ducha que funcionó. Servicio bueno.

El hotel Portada del Sol de Trujillo no es recomendable, tienen problemas de coordinacion a la hora de pagar las cuentas, además el hotel se encuentra con las paredes en mal estado y no cuentan con aire acondicionado simplemente con un ventilador y no tienen lamparita de noche, solo una luz florescente.
