Great experience staying at Dusit Thani Davao

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very responsive to any request. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Average rate overall. The breakfast buffet and Madayaw cafe buffet dining were subpar. Not worth for the price paid - few options and food wasn't even that good. There was also some spots with water dripping from ceiling from condensation and staff just shrug it off when we complained and one of my family members had to move staff didnt even help. Overall underwhelming and not worth coming back.

The hotel itself is world class, elegant, super clean and so so comfortable for me and my husband.

Arrival and check-in chaotic, unwelcome, and disorganized. Set the tone for the whole stay. Carried own suitcase down the stairs to taxi during chaotic departure.

Great costumer sevice and the staff was so nice, respectful and helpful. They deliver the things you need to your room quickly. Always come back to this place when visiting davao. The hotel is very clean and smells good. It is near to the mall and restaurants.

I did not like how the pigeons fly around everywhere and drop poop/pee especially in the pool. And the hallway of floor 12 smelled like rotten eggs that slowly sipped in the room every time you opened the door. There was no direction from staff on how to get to our room.

I was supposed to have free to and from airport transport and they tried to charge me 1310 pesos ended up getting a taxi and paid 178 pesos

Quality of the hotel itself is genuinely outstanding. We had a 1 bedroom suite on the back side of the hotel facing the water and Samal Island. Great views from that side. The other side of the hotel faces the pool, with less interesting views. The room was very clean, nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed, and a large bathtub separate from the shower. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There is a Thai restaurant within the hotel and a bakery on the lobby level that sells breads, pastries and Starbucks coffee … a good alternative to the breakfast buffet. Swimming pool looked nice although we didn’t use it. There was live music in the lobby bar every night. It is worth noting that while the hotel itself is outstanding, the surrounding neighborhood has little to offer and is not walkable. There are a couple of nearby hotels with restaurants but little else. Nonetheless, the hotel is a good base of operations for venturing out in the Davao area (we did day trips to the mountain areas) and would be a good choice for business travelers. Overall we were quite happy and from what we saw of Davao City, I don’t think you could do any better than the Dusit Thani Residences.

Have stayed here several times in the last few years and it is always very clean and the service is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We liked the spacious room. Air con needing fixing but no front desk follow up. Food good. Swimming pool good.

The hospitality was very good.except one girl in their bakery shop, and in the balcony their were many pigeon poo and itvwas really dirty.I think the management should do something about it

I always stay here because rooms are big with kitchen, coffee maker and bath tub. Gym is great too!

The hotel was very beautiful. The food was very delicious. The water for the shower was warm and lasted a long time (compared to other hotels ive stayed at in the Philippines). The staff cleaned the room very good. I always tipped the staff everyday for their quick and detailed cleaning of my room.The only real problem i had was that occasionally the room had a bad smell.

Beautiful property and great place to relax. Staff are amazing, helpful and polite.

The Hotel quality is high enough to spend long vacation. But one might feel some difficulty going out from hotel. Taxis should be waiting at any moment
