Ibis Styles Subic

Ibis Styles is new, and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because the check out is terrible. I turned in my keys, and they called housekeeping to check my room. I waited and waited, then they ask two random employees that walked by to check my room, then called someone else again. I ended up standing around almost ten minutes while my driver waited outside. What if multiple people were there before me? I was finally given the all clear to leave. People, you have my card on file, if something is wrong you have recourse! I did not ask for a receipt, I wonder how long that would have taken?

The hotel is brand new. Some areas are still under construction but the lobby was spotless. We got the most basic room, but it was so well-designed and comfortable. Staff were courteous and helpful. Location is excellent, just across the Harborpoint mall, and with a lot of local restaurants within walking distance. Overall, excellent value for money. Will definitely go back on our next Subic trip!

Lovely hotel, it will be even better when the pool and gym open. They are currently not open. Price wise it is a much better hotel than what you can get for the equivalent dollar elsewhere in Subic. We really slept well at this hotel.
