I stayed in this hostel for 4 days. The staff was OK but the shower only produced either very hot or cold water. Plus, a bar is on the rooftop and it is really noisy because I heard of the music or something from the bar even when sleeping.

I really enjoyed in the hotel. Bar was so good and people in the hotel and bar are also great . Thank you for your every service.

The receptionist was friendly and informative. Exciting and fun experience in this hostel. Had opportunity to mingle foreign people and make friends. You can even sing your heart out for a drink. Cool idea! Worth our stay with my friend.

Our stay in Mad Monkey was fun. They have welcome drinks and also a free water refill. Staff are super nice.

Front desk staff was rude on arrival and checking out. I’ve always stayed at Mad Monkey in different places and I don’t like leaving reviews but I highly disliked this place. Some of my stuff was stolen. Never staying here again.

Such an amazing environment with friendly staff that made you feel welcomed. Thanks you Mad Monkey . Especially Jayson the hospitality manager who made sure all the needs of the guests were met. And kept the fun going. As well as Valerie the bartender who made me feel welcomed and comfortable. You both were Amazing ! Can’t wait to return!!

Mad Monkey is a unique and enjoyable experience in Cebu City. It offers a pool, bar, recreation area, and generally a very social vibe that's great for meeting people. I met a few people that I'll keep in touch with. I stayed in a private room that was on par for an economy from in Cebu, maybe a little above as far as cleanliness. The only downsides were there's no food allowed in the rooms, and the noise from the nightly party makes it difficult to sleep before the wee hours, but I usually wasn't trying to anyway. All in all, a great time! Glad I stayed there!

It was alright generally just need to do some repairs as there was leak in my room coming from the walls when it rained.

Loved the bar and design rooms were okay. Limited locker space but at least we had one. Location was ok but a 20 min walk from the centre so not too bad. Rooms were very plain

Hello travelers of the world. My 19 year old son and I stayed at the amazing Mad Monkey Hotel for over a week at New Years. It was truly the most amazing experience the both of us ever had. Our every need was taken care of over and above our expectations. It would be an honor to return to the Mad Monkey Cebu. The team at MM became friends because they cared about us so much! Check out their tours too! Legendary! Many thanks to the team, especially to Cristian, Arsen, Maria, Angel, Kyla, Gabriel, and everyone's name we missed. They are family. I hope you all get the chance to experience the love and friendship at the Mad Monkey Cebu City. Love you all!

The canyoneering tour was amazing and worth the money but the hostel itself was so so. Great place to meet people but the food is quite expensive and location is not very walking friendly.

Great place to meet other people, especially more foreigners. Staff is very friendly and plenty of party vibes.

Hostel is great for young short stay back packers, great night life at the bar, and friendly staff, and a little drinking competition that try and break the ice for the solo and group travellers alike. No lift, but excelllent air con unit, 20 min walk to Ayala Shopping Centre

Mad Monkey fake canceled on us through email, stole our money really. Forced us to book another hotel during sinulog festival dates making it twice the rate for a much worse hostel. Then a day before they said ready to check in to Mad Monkey! I tried to cancel it then, but was too late.

I have good memory and there is rooftop bar on 5th floor. I just stay one night.
