Stayed here for a week with my little family. Staff were always friendly and warm. The hotel was clean and had a homie vibe. We had an amazing time!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. SERVICE excellent bedrooms were very clean and beds were comfortable.

We had an incredible stay at Canto de Luz and highly recommend it—especially for families traveling with little ones! The location is perfect: central yet on a quiet street, and we found Porto much more stroller-friendly than Lisbon. We could walk everywhere with ease. Our City Retreat suite on the ground floor was super convenient with our 17-month-old, offering plenty of space (including a long hallway for him to run around). The large pack ‘n play crib was perfect, and the floor-to-ceiling windows could be fully blacked out, making naps a breeze—for both baby and parents! Breakfast each morning was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. They even provided baby cutlery and plates, which was such a nice touch. The bright, airy dining space with large windows overlooking the terrace made for a lovely start to the day. Though we couldn’t use the heated pool due to the weather, it was a great added feature. The staff was wonderful—Susan was always available via WhatsApp, and Joanna warmly greeted us each morning. They even provided milk for our baby when we arrived late and hadn’t had time to go to the grocery store. The small details, like a towel-warming rack, easy-to-use washer/dryer, intuitive lighting, and an incredibly comfortable bed, made our stay extra special. We absolutely loved our experience at Canto de Luz and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Porto, especially families.

This hotel is in middle of the city which is great if you want to walk around and eveything was easy to get to. Getting a taxi is easy or bolt like uber is very friendly. The staff is super nice and friendly the breakfast was serviced with so much care. We enjoyed that alot. But the bed is hard mattresses that was very uncomfortable for us. The room we selected was garden facing but no view of the garden that was disappointing. The sofa bed was also not very comfortable.

Fantastic place with amazing staff and service

Excellent staff especially Ludmila who referred us to Almada 331. We met the owner Fernando who was an Amazing host. We loved everything about the hotel & have referred our friends. Excellent location. Loved the sample pirt. Laundry is nearby and easy to eat while doing laundry. Trindade metro to airport is close so no need to worry abput transport.

Estuve en un viaje en familia, me pareció excelente el lugar, la comodidad de las habitaciones y todas equipadas con muy buena tecnología. Lo mejor el servicio fue maravilloso, la atención de las personas muy bueno y el desayuno delicioso. Totalmente recomendado

I loved the staff! They were really kind and helpful. It was really cute and I liked that we can walk everywhere and overall I think it was a really good place.

The entire experience was so wonderful

We stayed for 2 nights in Mid May. The location is ok, I would’ve preferred to stay near the Duoro River and Luis Bridge instead. The rooms, staff, bf everything is excellent! The location is not bad about 15 mins walk to the river area. We booked a Bolt ride a few times and it was a bit hard for the drivers to identify the location somehow got dropped a little ahead or behind at all times.
