Beautiful, quiet, small hotel. Spacious comfortable room (we were in a premium room). You'd benefit from having a car here, but it's not essential. It's slightly inconvenient the hotel doesn't offer evening meals but the village is a 5-10min walk downhill and has several restaurants (we went in the quiet season and there were always at least 2 open). One offers delivery to the hotel but beware it's cash only! Sintra and Lisbon are approx 30mins away by car for sightseeing - Ubers serve the area and are very inexpensive or the hotel can arrange transfers. We borrowed mountain bikes for free and cycled 4km to the beach - be aware it's quite challenging cycling in the area due to hills and off-road terrain, so this wouldn't be an option for everyone, but if you are reasonably fit or cycle regularly you will love the beautiful landscape of the national park. The beach is beautiful with golden sand but huge waves on this coast mean no swimming. Yes, as some reviews mention, there was still building work on a neighbouring property when we visited (March 2025) and it's a bit ugly on one side of the hotel but we weren't disturbed by construction noise. Helpful staff, delicious breakfast, nice indoor and poolside lounging areas.

Everything was magnificent! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Wonderful view to the beach. There were also plenty parking spaces.

The hotel is fantastic, from the beautiful views, the eco conscious touches, the fresh and tasty food and the super helpful staff. We stayed in a camper which had a gorgeous deck and the bed was so comfy. Bathroom was a little small, but that is expected in a camper! Would definitely return as a perfect retreat for exploring this part of Portugal.

Für diesen Preis definitiv mehr erwartet! Leider mehr Schein als Sein :( Hotelbereich oberflächlich sehr schön allerdings im Detail nicht gepflegt/sauber. Zimmer: tote Fliegen und Käfer auf Boden/Fensterbänken, modrige schmutzige Kissen auf den Outdoormöbeln (Terrasse wird scheinbar nie gereinigt), Schiebetür zwischen Schlafzimmer und Bad/WC konnte nicht geschlossen werden da Boden defekt. Frühstück für diesen Preis leider auch ungenügend. Lage ist schön, Personal sehr nett!

Very helpful, nice staff. Lovely pool and view. Superb breakfast. Great location for exploring, but you'll need a car... They have electric charging if you can rent an electric car too. Only small challenge for some would be the open plan room including shower in same area... But maybe not all rooms are like that. All in all my wife and 8 year old son and I really enjoyed it.

O hotel é bonito, mas os banheiros dos quartos não tem porta , o que torna o uso do mesmo muito desagradável. A piscina não estava limpa nos 2 dias que estivemos hospedados. Além disso as cadeiras de sol ficam sempre cobertas por um tecido de proteção. Mesmo assim os poucos funcionários se desdobram para ajudar.

Este é um hotel muito tranquilo, ideal para relaxar, que providencia belas vistas para o mar e para observar o por-do-sol. Na área comum, tem uma piscina exterior aquecida, o que considero uma mais-valia. À chegada, somos recebidos com uma bebida de boas-vindas e um staff bastante simpático e prestável. Ficamos no quarto Premium Mobile Home, que é muito acolhedor e charmoso, com lareira e uma banheira com vista para o exterior. Gostaria apenas de sugerir que seria simpático também providenciarem uma garrafa de água no quarto. Relativamente à relação qualidade-preço, apesar de ser um hotel bastante bom e com características muito particulares, considero os preços um pouco elevados para a quantidade de serviços que providencia.

Points positifs -beauté du site et des bâtiments passifs, déco, matériaux utilisés. -dans la montagne, très calme. -personnel adorable et très serviable -propreté impeccable -Petit déjeuner incroyable à la carte -piscine et mobilier très confortables -a cote de très chouettes restaurants peu touristiques -cuisine délicieuse. Utilisation des produits de Leur potager. Nous reviendrons!! Points négatifs (en cherchant et ce sont des Détails) -cuisine et service trop lents. -robinetterie pas facile à régler (mitigeur inefficace dans la douche. eau bouillante) -éclairage des chambres (il Faudrait plus de petits éclairages faciles) -parfois humidité fort présente dans la chambre

Hôtel haut de gamme qui bénéficie d’un magnifique emplacement. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. L’esprit de la nature et du calme y règne. Le personnel est très gentils et serviables. Attention tout de même à la propreté des espaces communs, hors piscine qui était toujours propre, qui pourrait être d’une qualité supérieure (tâches au sol, sur le billard et cendrier plein sur plusieurs jours). L’équipement basic des chambres (mouchoirs, gobelets, tapis de douche manquant un jour sur deux, etc.) et le service de restauration (hors petit déjeuner qui est parfait et délicieux) qui n’est aujourd’hui pas à la hauteur du prix affiché.
