Everything was awesome! All staff and guests are kind and friendly. Although my first trip to Portugal was alone, it was a wonderful memory. I will stay here when I go to Lisbon again. I love Lisbon and this inn.With love from Japan.

Towel hooks in bathroom dont work. There is a ladder for towels.
They have ice but not always available.
There are 103 steps to the rooms in the 4th floor. Doesn’t seem to be staff to help with luggage up to the room.
Staff is friendly. Good location.

The hotel is cute in the pictures but there is next to no privacy, very old building, narrow hallway could barely get into the room with our backpack and carry on suitcases. Then you can hear everything between the rooms, there is absolutely no privacy. We also had no heat in our room & it got very cold. The staff were not able to fix the issue. Then there was a power failure, which involved the entire street however there was minimal communication regarding the issue & no offer of any discount for the inconveniences - it was out more than 12 hours. Needless to say we didn’t stay a second night & we would not go back.

Very charming. Location is great. Small boutique kind of place. The only thing is that we were on the top floor (5th) and no elevators. A young lady carried some of our luggage. She would have done it all but we wouldn’t let her. Very quaint place

The staff at Chiado 44 was outstanding. We especially liked Isabella. She was always ready with a smile and lots of suggestions for things in the area. The hotel is located walking distance to so much! The rooms were clean and very nice and I loved the little sitting area with doors that opened to the outside!

The room was clean, however there’s no elevator, it’s a walk up, the check in staff was very accommodating, helped us with the luggage. Also the noice from the bar in the corner was excessive, made it really difficult to sleep. I would like to give it a better rating but I’m unable to.

yes the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful we arrived in the rain ..... would rather not have wooden branches to hang clothing and towels on ... much prefer regular towel rails. I had a room next to a staff room and the door was often open
