Staff members are very efficient and helpful! Room was very clean but dated need renovation. TV not working but good WiFi connection and I can watch TV news using my iPad! Breakfast is ok! Lot of shop , restaurants and supermarkets near by.

Wonderful stay. Great location. Friendly host.

If you need a parking spot don’t rely on what it says here on the booking portal. I advised them before my stay that I would need a parking spot but they couldn’t provide it because they don’t really have a parking space. There a just a few parking spots in a partner hotel so you depend on being lucky or not. The staff at the reception was not helpful either. Breakfast was below standard. 1 hour after opening time the buffet was very empty. When I mentioned it to the staff the answer was that it’s just a simple basic breakfast. I believe there is a difference in a basic breakfast or empty buffet and I should not have to ask to refill the food. Although my stay was in November the room was so hot and air conditioning wasn’t working properly and was really loud. The only good thing to mention about the hotel was the location.

Hotel centrality located, quiet at night with easy access to restaurants and cafes nearby. Room comfortable and staff very helpful.

Bad attitude and lack of respect from most staff. Bad wifi. Bad breakfast. Good location. For the price I paid, I definitely expected more.

Perfekt hotell för den som vill bo i centrala Funchal och ha nära till allt i staden. Det finns ett Supermarket precis bredvid. Jag bodde i ett enkelrum som var rymligt och bra. Frukosten var enkel men god. Wifi fungerade utan problem. Jag skulle gärna bo här även nästa gång om jag skulle komma till Funchal.

Les chambres sont bestoutes

Positiv: sehr nah in die Stadt, zu Fuß gerade einmal 3-5 Minuten. Negativ: Frühstück ist sehr spärlich und jeden Tag das selbe, Qualität leider eine Katastrophe. Das Zimmer war okay. Im Bett waren viele Haare, das Badezimmer hat die ganze Zeit nach Abfluss gerochen, was sehr unangenehm war. Die „Klima“ ist eher nur eine Lüftung.

Bon hôtel, chambres sur l'arrière confortables et calme. Un bémol pour le petit déjeuner, le beurre que j'ai pris était avarié, la chaîne du froid ne doit pas être respectée.

L'albergo nonostante la prenotazione era al completo, ma il personale si è attivato per trovarci una buona sistemazione.

Hôtel bien situé dans la vieille ville , à notre arrivée l’accueil a été professionnel, nous avions besoin de poser nos bagages avant l’heure prévu et le jour de notre départ après l’heure, cela n’a pas été un problème. La literie tout à fait correcte, Un point désagréable cependant le bruit de l’ascenseur de service qui un soir nous a gêné .

We were booked here and upon arrival at 10:30 pm were told they were overbooked. Apparently there was a system issue and several others were without a room. The front desk employee was lovely and arranged another hotel for us and a taxi to bring us there. We ended-up at a fine hotel. However, it was 40 mins from the center. I am not sure if the glitch was on their end, hotels.com, etc. but I don’t understand why we weren’t contacted prior to arrival given that all the arrangements were made for us to relocate.
