Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt.

Mooie groot appartement. Schoon, modern, grote tuin met zwembad. Uitzicht op de bergen. Echt een plek om tot rust te komen

Set in a beautiful landscape in the countryside, high quality and tastefully furnished, perfect equipped apartments, and, most of all, incredible staff: Angela served delicious (highly individualized) breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. Angela, Cissa, and Nicole (as well as everyone doing written communication) was incredibly friendly, competent, helpful, and all around delightful. I want to return soon. Pico do Refugio is also ideally located, right in the middle of the island, no matter what destination. The garden is beautiful, the pool super clean. One can't ask for more!

Notre petit appartement était très sympa, bien équipé et propre. Il est bien situé et il y a un épicerie tout près. Il faut toutefois louer une auto car il n'y a pas de commerce à distance de marche. Nous avions de très bon petits déjeuner tous les matins. Le jardin est magnifique également.

Good location 15 min drive to ponta delgada, good breakfast, clean house, great staff.

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were very roomy and all come with a view of the beautiful garden. The breakfast has to be the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had almost a whole feast. Lived my stay.

Estuvimos muy agusto en este alojamiento. El apartamento tenía todo lo necesario y estaba muy cuidado igual que su entorno, piscina y jardines. El personal muy amable, en especial Ana con quien tratamos. Nos dió todas las recomendaciones necesarias para visitar Sao Miguel. Repetiríamos sin dudar en este alojamiento.

This is a fantastic property. It is beautiful, well located and unique. The room was perfect and the attention we received was excellent. We were permitted early check-in which completely changed our trip in the most positive way. Staff were great, super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful, and was different everyday. 10/10 would recommend!!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden definitiv wiederkommen! Die Unterkumft bietet eine richtige Auszeit umd strahlt eine besondere Ruhe aus. Ana, eine der Gastgeberinnen, hat uns super viele Tipps zu unserem Aufenthalt gegeben und war die ganze Zeit zu erreichen.

This place was amazing. They do a chef-run dinner that is completely worth doing. We loved our time here.

Beautiful property which was an old tea factory. The room we had came with a well stocked kitchen and tons of amenities (including laundry on site). Check in was easy and communication was great. Anna included lots of recommendations for food, hikes and sites to see on the island. Would return.

Really enjoyed this stay outside of the city center and really thought the property was incredibly beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone who is open to have a more nature stay and privacy

The property is truly magical. They have done an amazing job with the design. Truly breathtaking sitting on top of a small community and close to the downtown. I proposed to my fiancé here and we can’t wait to come back.

Alojamiento espacioso y con unas vistas inmejorables. Negativo, cocina muy pequeña, puertas y ventanas viejas, necesitan un cambio. Tambien el mobiliario esta viejo, la cama de matrimonio y armarios incluso tenian termitas.

Hotel room was damp, dark and moldy. The room requested for a couple with two children - upon arrival we were directed to a room with four twin beds (2 on one floor and the other two in a loft). Due to the climate conditions in the room, your belongings will never be fully dry and the mildewy smell sticks to your clothes and suitcase. The shower/water heater will only provide for two quick warm showers and the others will have to take cold showers. In addition, there are any number of insects in the room e.g., ants, crickets and other native species. Additionally, the WIFI was non-existent and the administrators/managers of the property were largely absent. We caught glimpses of them as they were driving off/on the property. The location is also not particularly centrally located - so be ready to drive if you intend to use this as homebase. This is as no-frills as you can get; there was nothing within walking distance to go to for breakfast. The hotel offered breakfast (for a price) which consisted of: yogurt, granola, small portion of cheese and ham with local bread, OJ and tea as well as, hot milk and cereal.
