Our stay at Quinta Da Foz was amazing. Room was very clean. It's a beautiful centuries old traditional family home that really brings you back in time. The tour and attention Francisco provides is awesome. Breakfast is served by his mother at the family table with a lit wood burning fireplace. Loved our stay here.

We had a great stay at Quinta da Foz. The place is very unique, with history dating back to 16th century. The owner of the place was very welcoming and gave us a private tour around the house. The stay included a breakfast, and we were treated every day to local delicacies and homemade pastries. Delicious!

Die etwas andere Unterkunft. Wir waren Mitte Oktober für 5 Tage da und haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Abseits der Touristenströme haben wir die Ruhe genossen. Der Gastgeber ist mega freundlich, immer hilfsbereit, gibt Tips zu geplanten Ausflügen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Frühstück nimmt man an einem großen Tisch ein, an dem auch die anderen Gäste sitzen. So kommt man gut in Kontakt. Das Frühstück ist sehr nachhaltig gestaltet, lokale Produkte, mehrfach Verwendung der Behältnisse. Es entsteht kein Müll. Den Abend haben wir gemütlich bei einem hervorragenden Glas Rotwein ausklingen lassen. Da wir öfters in Portugal sind, werden wir die Quinta bestimmt wieder mal buchen

O local é fantástico, lindíssimo, arborizado, espetacular. Porém a estadia foi problemática. Há nitidamente um desencontro entre as informações na plataforma Hoteis.com e as informações do anfitrião. O motivo que escolhemos o local para nossas férias foi que, na plataforma, estava descrito como ACEITA ANIMAIS e sem mais nenhuma referência. Ao chegarmos, o anfitrião ficou extremamente nervoso e alterado ao se deparar como nossos pets ( 2 cachorros pequenos) e começou a dizer que nós deveríamos ter avisado que levaríamos os animais ( não havia esta informação na plataforma de avisar ao anfitrião, uma vez que aceitava animais) e ele alegou que não trabalhava com a Hoteis.com e a sim com a Expedia. Mostramos como o anúncio da hospedagem estava na plataforma. Disse que era um pet por quarto (não havia isto na plataforma) então ele começou a confrontar as informações da plataforma com as regras do site deles. Foi péssimo. Fizemos o check-in, fomos jantar em um restaurante próximo e decidimos ir embora. A plataforma DEVE verificar se os locais são realmente PETFRIENDLY (ir além de simplesmente ACEITA ANIMAIS). Concordo que os tutores devem limpar os ambientes e os pets não devem ficar sozinhos. Agora, peso, cobrar a parte, limite de pets, isso não é ser petfriendly. Como disse anteriormente, o local é espetacular, realmente 5 estrelas, mas há este porém que deve ser corrigo pela plataforma e verificar se realmente os locais são veradeiramente petfriendly.

Wonderful experience staying in an 457 year old property. We woke up to the sounds of peacocks and sheep. Excellent value. Our host was wonderful.

What a special place and a great discovery. The property is full of history and character, and our room was so pretty and comfortable. We appreciated our gracious and interesting host, the nice breakfast, and of course the great dane and the gorgeous peacocks.

Definitely the most interesting and historic places we have stayed. Well worth a stop if travelling around Portugal. Would recommend more than one night to fully appreciate the hotel and area.

Ansprechende Zimmer mit allem Komfort in einem Herrenhaus aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, das sehr schön saniert und gepflegt ist.

Our stay at Quinta da Foz was amazing! This property is easy to find, very unique, authentic and totally enjoyable. Francois was the most gracious host. I would highly recommend this property.

Nice town walkable to beach and beach promenade. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable . Close drive to many sites and towns.

The Quinta was absolutely charming, and the host was even more lovely. The place is very special. We will be back.

Really amazing stay in Portugal. Francisco checked us in and did a wonderful job showing us the room and grounds. Breakfast each morning was delicious and we ended each day in front of the fireplace in our room! We also visited the restaurants recommended by Francisco and they were wonderful. Nice small town on the coast and lots to explore nearby.

How could one not love staying at this place? A 650 year old estate, with only 4 rooms to rent. Our room was in a building all to itself, detached from everything else. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful, even giving us a tour of the private areas of his family's estate and relaying the history of the estate, which has been in his family since it was built in the 15th century..

Fabulous! The hours are gracious and thorough with every detail. The Quinta is a step back in time with modern comfort

Unique place to stay in historic mansion near beautiful beaches (15 min walk) and the mediveal town of Obidos.Beautiful rooms and expansive grounds with a fantastic breakfast served daily. What made our stay at the Quinta so great was the owner's, Francisco, explanations of his family's history of the Quinta. Truly an exceptional place.

Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt eine kurze Führung durch diesen alten Gutshof, der absolut beeindruckend ist. Wunderbar!
