The location of the hotel is great. However, I have nothing else that is good to say about this hotel. For starters, the WiFi was only confined to the first floor and even then I had to go down to the front desk about the WiFi because I was having trouble getting on. When I went down to the front desk, I asked if there was an issue with the WiFi and only then was I told that the WiFi was broken. Two days later they did get it fixed, but the WiFi was still confined to the first floor. In addition, there was mold in the shower and bottom of the tub was peeling. Lastly, although the location of the hotel was great, the noise level was not due to hearing everything from outside and the thin walls that are inside so you could easily hear the noises that were happening from other guests rooms. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel unless if you don’t care about the WiFi. However, for people who need to do work while staying here, then this not an ideal place.

Enkelt hotell med mycket bra läge i Funchal. Plus för att det fanns balkong och ingick frukost. Minsks för att duchmunstucket i duschen var katastrof, samt kuddarna i sängen var alldeles för tunna. Är man känslig för hårda sängar ska man inte välja det här hotellet, men för mig gjorde det inget.

The hotel overbooked and they didnt have a room for us. However, upgraded us to windsor hotel just accross the road. The hotel was good and have free breakfast. But the noise from the street and pub was awful. People shouting screaming keeping as up all night til late.

Positiv: Ich konnte eine Stunde früher einchecken Das Frühstücksangebot war zwar klein aber dafür lecker Neutral: O Zimmersauberkeit. Nicht zu dreckig, nicht allzu sauber O Das Zimmer ist runtergekommen, aber alles nötige funktioniert Negativ: - Kein WLAN in den Zimmern. WLAN nur im 1. Stock. WLAN im 1. Stock ist ab meinem 3. Aufenthaltstag ausgefallen. Nach Rekalamation kam nicht viel mehr als ein Schulterzucken - Die Zimmer sind hellhörig. Man hört jede Stimme, jede Tür. - Die Fenster sind undicht. Man hört jedes Auto, jeden Besoffenen, ja sogar den Kassenscanner unter dem Hotel kann man hören. Dafür, dass es einer der günstigsten Hotels in ganz Funchal ist, war es gerade so am Limit des aushaltbaren. You get what you pay for. Wobei ich sagen muss, das sind echt lächerliche Hotelpreise auf Madeira. Wenn man für so einen Schrott schon pro Nacht 60-80EUR zahlen muss.

Mon séjour a ete convenable. Proche de tout au centre de Funchal. Personnel tres sympathique et gentille. Je retournerais.

Good location, commodities near by were excellent. One major issue is there was no internet in the room, only in communal place and it wasn't working.

It’s an old building but it was clean, staff were very friendly, everything was good, except that there’s no air conditioning and the fan was very noisy, another aspect is the beds are very hard, if they could change that, it would be great. Breakfast was excellent.

No wifi in the room, poor wifi in the gloomy 1. floor saloon, noisy room.

Good location, close to shops and the old town, with good resurants great food. There breakfast was a little bland even for continental. Very nice friendly staff. Enjoyed my stay. Many thanks to all x

We arrived at night and the room was very hot. One of the bed sheets had a blood stain... I asked the reception for a fan and that helped a little to support the heat. One bed was very bad and I could feel the springs on my back. The water had little pressure and bathroom was very old. Breakfast was basic, but fair for the price. I do not recommend this hotel for a family. Maybe if your budget is low and you are travelling with friends it can work out due to be very central in Funchal. Renovations are urgently needed

It was nice but tv not working and shower water it was terrible i couldn’t wash my hair and my self properly and no mini fridge especially with this hot weather it will be nice to have small fridge to put drinks for the kids

Chambre très bruyante mais le personnel nous a gentiment changé de chambre. Pas de parking dans l'hôtel.

What I liked (The staff was very kind and friendly. The property is in the city centre). What I didn't like so much (The bathroom needs to be renovated. And there was no fridge).

Beaucoup de bruit, l'insonorisation est à revoir !... Dommage que le breakfast soit moins diversifié en produits locaux. Accueil chaleureux, personnel sympathique et disponible.

A besoin de se refaire une jeunesse...

Hotel humilde e antiquado. Serviço mediano. Boa localização.

They moved me due to overbooking to another Hotel the receptionist there had no idea and did get grumpy told him that's not my fault If I would have known that it only goes up and down the hill I wouldn't have moved and stayed downtown Funchal I asked at Greco twice how far it would be to walk as a local resident I guess he couldn't answer that question Next time I know and let someone else move
