Great welcome with a lot of good information about the destination. Lovely apartment with a balcony above the cities vibrant and busy street sounds making you feel at home. Quick to walk to amazing beaches.

Thanks to Joana our stay there was much better than we expected. Joana you are really the BEST in Lagos. She helped us with our tours and made our days greater.
The location is wonderful, the city too, you have a lot of places to explore. You have to consider that the hotel is in the city walls of the old town, with pedestrain and very narrow streets if you go driving like us and they do not have parking. Anyway, there are free parkings some blocks away. The oranges were the best of the world….juicy and sweet do not miss them.

The location of The Salty Lodge is absolutely perfect! It is nestled amidst wonderful cafes, restaurants, historic buildings and is quiet during the evenings. But the best part is friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel clerks, Joana and Joana. They warm friendly and are great resource for navigating the areas in and around Lagos. I would not hesitate to stay there again and hope I can soon!

The apartment had everything we needed and it was close to the beach and numerous restaurants. Although we didn’t have a nice view out our apartment windows, the 5th floor lounge had great views and comfortable seating and was the perfect place to relax in the sun.
Our apartment had a bed that could only be accessed from one side. It was a bit inconvenient. That was the only negative.
We’d stay there again because it was convenient, it had everything we needed, and the staff were helpful.

Friendliness and welcome of staff; provision of simple extras such as room snacks and starter kit on arrival. The kitchen was very well equipped with even a juicer for the oranges included in the room. They even had a first aid kit. Overall, this was an example of true hospitality!!

Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise. The everyday cleaning and turn down service is a big plus. The hotel has everything you need for a beach day, towels, blankets, umbrella and some beach toys and bikes as well. There’s even a filtered water refiling station. Joanna at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful during our entire stay. So glad we chose Salty Lodge!

This place is amazing. Unit was very well equiped, complete kitchen, microwave, fridge, oven, all the pots and pans, dishwasher, etc... (even a juice maker, the oranges here are exceptional, be sure to try it out). Modern bathroom, nice large dining table with 4 chairs, living room with couch and armchair. Really enjoyed our east facing little balcony c/w with 2 chairs and table. To top it all off, open your favorite bottle of wine and climb the stairs (it's only 4 storeys) to the rooftop terrace, you wont regret it!! a special oasis with very comfy furniture, little nooks for private relaxing and enjoying the city views, also a bathroom is provided.
Staff was super nice, and helpfull with recommendations for activities and places to eat.
Stayed for 5 nights, everything was perfect, (even the weather!!!) so very happy we chose this place. I highly recommend The Salty Lodge for anyone looking for a place to stay in Lagos.

GREAT location, and despite being such a busy area, had no issues with noise.
I was a little irritated with one thing, but that's probably a me issue. When I told them the night before I'd check out at 11, I got a knock on my door at 10:59. I was on my way out but honestly, that made me a little hesitant to return. Sometimes things happen on international trips, and if a place is that particular about the exact minute of check out, I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be flexiblity elsewhere.
