Sehr große Zimmer mit Meeresblick, sehr gutes und abwechslungsreiches Essen, Personal sehr bemüht, sehr gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis, würden wiederkommen

Die Lage direkt am Meer ist sehr schön. Der kostenlose Bustransfer nach Funchal ist sehr kundenfreundlich. Die Poolbar ist für ein Essen zwischendurch sehr zu empfehlen. Leider ist das Abendessen mit Preisen zwischen 31,- und 39,50 €/Person (keine Kinderermäßigung!!!) ohne Getränke nicht familienfreundlich. Wir haben uns in der kleinen Küche auf dem Zimmer selbst versorgt. Das Frühstück war i.O.

Magnifique hôtel, vue sur la mer, chambre spacieuse, piscine et jacuzzi pour se détendre. Excellent petit-déjeuné !

Very nice hotel, nice staff, well maintained, clean, spacious bedroom, nice shower, very good gym, very good breakfast. Only negative point is regarding the limited spaces at parking.

Easy to get to from the airport. Room not ready until 3pm check in but were able to use facilities. Rooms good size and comfortable. Cleaning does not happen by default, you have to request it by filling in a piece of paper and returning it to reception. You can put the sign that says please clean my room outside your door, and the cleaners will just walk past anyway and ignore it. This is done for environmental reasons they say. If you phone reception they refuse to have your room cleaned that day and tell you to fill in the paperwork. The animation team had a good selection of things on but were very hard to get hold of, for example you needed to ask them to unlock the go carts… but they were busy face painting, so lots of activities could not be done even when advertised as only two people could help you. The mini golf is one hole and a net. The outdoor gym equipment was partially broken. The table football machine was chargeable and cost you for every goal. The library had nothing for children. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Allergens were mislabelled at least twice and moved about whilst food was already being served though. Lovely view from our balcony, and Madeira is a beautiful place.

leuk, familiaal hotel met lekker eten en vriendelijk personeel. Bij aankomst kregen we de splinternieuwe hotelkamer aangeboden ondanks we de 'oudere' hadden geboekt. zeer aangename verassing. zeer tevreden!

Hotel com ótima localização, à beira mar. Equipe de atendimento muito solicita e educada. Café da manhã bem servido e variado. Nossa única queixa foi com relação à limpeza de nossos quartos, que deixou muito a desejar - tivemos que por mais de uma vez fazer reclamações à recepção. Por um momento, pensei que fosse alguma confusão com relação à possibilidade que o hotel dispõe de indicar quais dias o quarto deveria ser limpo, e os dias onde não há limpeza são convertidos em verba para consumo no bar da piscina. Mas, como não utilizamos essa possibilidade e deixamos bem claro desde o primeiro dia que queríamos a limpeza todos os dias, não entendemos o porquê de alguns dias sequer terem passado uma vassoura no quarto. Entretanto, tirando este contratempo com a limpeza nos quartos, gostamos bastante da hospedagem e recomendamos. Em uma futura hospedagem, e a depender do preço, seria com certeza uma opção que consideraríamos.

Super Hotel. Einrichtung ist einfach aber praktisch gehalten. Das gastronomische Angebot war super. Es war sehr lecker und vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (gerade bei den Menüs dienstags und freitags) echt top. Auch die angestellten waren von morgens bis abends ALLE überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Würde ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

This is a beautiful property, set up on a cliff overlooking the ocean, and just a 5 or so minute walk along nice coastal paved pathways to the Ponte de Piedade. The main hotel is nice, the pools are large, and the sand pool is unique and was a lot of fun for our kids. A few pros and cons based on our stay in one of the two bedroom family studios. Pros: - Unit had a full kitchenette which made cooking possible, which was important because there are not many dining options other than the hotel (expensive) around that area - Unit had washer and dryer - Blackout roller shades everywhere (although we didin't discover until the last day 😣) - Nice L'Occitane toiletries - Proximity to Ponte de Piedade and the coastal trails - Proximity to a local beach, except it is a nudist beach so go with caution Cons: - Not much around the hotel itself. Lagos is a 20 minute drive away - The apartment could use a restock in the kitchen. We didn't have 4 of anything including drinking classes, but made do with a mixture of glasses and coffee mugs. - Very windy up on the cliff vs down in other towns that are more beachfront areas. Made it too cool to really lay out much - Pools were cold. In combo with the wind they were hardly usable, even by our kids. - Hot tub wasn't even bath water warm Overall it was a nice stay and we enjoyed it. Not sure it would qualify as a five star hotel compared to US five star hotels, but definitely nice and kid friendly without feeling like a kids camp.
