Sehr gutes Hotel nettes Personal. Wurde am ersten Tag freundlich empfangen und erwartet.

Spent two nights here during a business trip. Hotel is located on the hillside with great views of Brasov. Close enough to city center to walk to dinner, though be prepared to walk back uphill. I believe there are hiking trails behind the hotel that trek up the mountain, though I didn’t have time to check them out. Will definitely visit again :)

Parking was very difficult and the sensor they gave me to open door after 8 PM never worked and left me locked out for awhile. A very clumsy system on their part.

The views from the hotel are stunning, and there is a lovely garden and some pathways around the property where you can see an amazing view of the Brasov skyline. The staff were very friendly as well. Pro tip: make sure to get dropped off directly at the hotel. Distance-wise, it's fairly close to the old city center, but it's a steep hike to get to the hotel. Not realizing this, I didn't get a taxi from the city center (thinking, based on the distance, that walking was fine). I ended up hauling two bags of luggage up what felt like the side of a mountain. That said, it's not that far, and you should be fine to walk unless you have a disability or are carrying heavy luggage. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. One might think the cool mountain air is sufficient, but this didn't help my room because the ventilation was terrible. I opened the patio door to try to let some of the cool air in, but this had almost no effect. The air was hot and still; I sweated all night and got terrible sleep due to the stifling air, even though the temperature outside that night was 11 C. If you prefer warmer temperatures and still air, you should be okay. Finally, the restaurant has great views, but the food is mediocre. The server was very kind and took good care of me, but the cuisine was just cheaply prepared, nothing she could do. Bottom line: come for the views but not for the rooms. Maybe better to take a taxi up one evening and have a drink at the restaurant.

Very nice hotel. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Very kindly facilitated with an early check in and staff couldn’t do enough to help you. 15 minute walk away from old town however, walk back is uphill. This might be a problem for some people with mobility issues, but otherwise clean, nice hotel with a good location and excellent staff

Problème d'usire avec literie très vielle et oreillers aplatis. De plus le frigo est très bruyant. Pour le reste tout est bien

Hotellet ligger på toppen af en bakke med en smuk udsigt over byen. Parkeringsanlægget ligger i forlængelse af hotellet, og selv en stor bil kunne nemt komme derind. Udsigten fra vores værelse var fantastisk og selve værelse var helt fint som forventet. Morgenmadsbuffeten var fin, flere af de andre gæste brugte dog hverken mundbind eller sprittede hænder, når de benyttede buffeten. Dette blev ikke påpeget af de ansatte, der dog selv benyttede mundbind.

Very nice hotel just outside the city centre. Nice rooms, great views.

Great service, great hotel, the location is perfect, 2 steps away from Tampa mountain. The breakfast was good, there was no buffet, the food was served based on a menu. 100 % we'll come back on our next trip to Bv.

A few days in Braşov and Hotel Kopling was a lovely retreat at the end of each day. Room was tastefully furnished with an obvious eye for detail. Clean, quality fittings, comfortable beds & a very reasonable & well-stocked minibar.

Wonderful property next to the Tampa mountain and hiking path up it is just out the back door. Great walking location to the old city and a number of tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room had a great view . Excellent buffet breakfast.

Kolping is a gem with a heart. It’s beautifully situated in the foothills with a great view of old Braşov. For a Westerner the hotel is cheap, too. Truly, value for money! I instantly became a fan when I was greeted by Alexandra at the reception desk. She was sweet, efficient, and gave me an upgrade. Later she helped me with an important phone call. If I ever come back to Braşov I would stay here again. So should you if you have any sense!

This was a lovely place to stay - a large twin room that was comfortable. It is up a steep road from the centre (about 10 minutes walk) so be prepared! Breakfast was good and the staff friendly. Brasov is a lovely city to visit.

We had bad luck and the last room was not very well cleaned, and found some hair on both pillows. The cleaning lady was sent to remake the room. On breakfast some of the past cheese is no longer into the menu (cheese with seeds).

From the moment we walked into reception to check-out, everything about this hotel stay was perfect. The receptionists were friendly and enthusiastic. The room was clean and quiet with quick access to a back door that leads to a patio by the forest. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious and very affordable. The location up the hill and away from the crowds was a bonus. This is a perfect place for a stay in Brasov.
