Great rooms and location

There were pros and cons to this hotel and our stay. Pros The biggest is the location across the Square. We were there for Halloween night and they had a huge Halloween Fair and it was so convenient to have the hotel across the street. Even on a non event there are tons of shops and restaurants in this square. The breakfast was good, with decent traditional continental breakfast offerings. The staff is friendly enough. The cons The rooms are clean but older looking than what the photos show. I understand it’s a look they are going for. But it could be bit more upgraded. Overall this is a good hotel.

The room was cxelent and the staff helped a lot.

Hotellet tar betalt for håndklær hvis du skal ha nytt før det har gått 3 dager, det var skuffende på et hotell som ellers var ganske bra. Frokosten var ok, men ikke kom for sent. De fylte ikke på f.eks. rundstykker eller speilegg.

God og sunn frokost, rent rom. Det som trekker ned er at de forventer at vi skal ha håndklær i 3 dager ellers må det betales for hver dag før den tid.

Staff were very uninterested in the residents, one never looked up from her phone when you entered or left the building. Our room wasn’t cleaned on our 2nd day. Breakfast was good and the man stocking the breakfast was very friendly. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the square. I would be happy to stay again but staff really need to up their welcome.

Room was large and comfortable. They had no ac, but provided a air cooler: nice place for a quick stopover

Centrally located right off the main square so we could see the market and beautiful view of the mountain. The room was very spacious with a large bed. We loved the historical feel of the place but had all modern amenities. There were a couple steep flights of steps which didn’t bother us but if you have knee problems/heavy suitcase be mindful of. I wouldn’t say that’s a deal breaker as it was easy for me but flagging for others who may. Definitely would go back due to the beautiful rooms, friendly staff, and perfect location.

We had an amazing time in Brasov; the hotel is right in the main plaza and is very convenient. In 1 min you are in old town with multiple food options and shopping. Breakfast was very good and the ladies prepped early breakfast for us- thank you all, we had a great time!

Beautiful property , safe. across from Black Church and Piata Mare. This was our second time staying in this hotel and we will return .

The property was in a great location, but it was more run down than I expected

The two main advantages of this property is it’s on the main square and there is a very good free breakfast. Surprisingly, my room did not have air-conditioning, but this was not required even though the temperature was 32°C. These old buildings have thick walls and there is a narrow courtyard. The only major complaint is that it’s very noisy in the morning after 8 am with the rooms around this narrow courtyard. I was awaken by an extremely loud and an enthusiastic rendition of happy birthday by some Germans which was not appreciated. My stay was also very good value for money.
