Great Location, great everything

We loved our stay there. The staff was very nice when we checked in the person name. Muhammad was at the counter. He was exceptionally good. He spoke very good English and took care of us. I would definitely stay there again. Best hotel experience.

Unprofessional staff

I recently stayed at the Fairmont Makkah in a Fairmont Gold Junior Suite, and while the location and the room itself were lovely, the service left a lot to be desired. Despite requesting an early check-in, we ended up waiting around two and a half hours before getting access to our room. The dedicated Gold lounge was under renovation, and the temporary reception area had issues with air conditioning. While the staff was polite, they weren’t very accommodating. In-room dining was another disappointment. Our dinner arrived late and incorrect, and when we tried to contact the staff to fix the order, we received no prompt response. Although they promised to send the missing items, nothing ever arrived, and there was no follow-up or apology. When we checked out, the Gold lounge was finally open, but we faced difficulties getting a refund for the incorrect charges. The process was slow, and despite leaving my account details, I still haven’t received the refund hours later. While the food was delicious, the service experience was far from what I expected from a hotel of this caliber. Sadly, I don’t think I will repeat my stay in the future.

I have full pictures of my room. Grime all over the shower, dirty coffee tray, tore duvets on both beds. And we complained to the hotel staff and management and its been 3 weeks after we left and noone even bothered to come back to us

Everything was good but just parking was a big issue it was not included i didn't know when i come they said per night 250 riyal i have to pay if they improve this that will be great

I picked this hotel mainly because it’s so close to the Haram, but I didn’t realise how great it actually was until I arrived and stayed during my Umrah. It honestly went above and beyond what I expected. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the Haram, which made it super easy to get to prayers and do everything without feeling rushed or worn out, even when it was really busy. What really made the difference for me was the service. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, always happy to help with anything. You can tell they really care about making your stay comfortable, and that meant a lot to me.
