Staff was very helpful. We had a late check in and they were there to assist. Breakfast was a plus we were not expecting and having a restaurant/bar onsite was very convenient. One downside was that the wifi was not working in our room; but, they did state in advance that not all rooms could reach the wifi because of how old the building was. For a small historic town the room was perfect. Our room had a great view on to a courtyard.

Nice little pub hotel. Small room, no air con. Staff were nice and helpful. Biggest pain is there is no onsite parking. Some free parking around if you can get a space. On street after 5:30pm to 8:30am.

The hotel is probably as good as it gets in Kirriemuir.
It’s a strange little hotel and many of the rooms are outwith the main building. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, the window didn’t open and the heating was on - though it was summer!
However the food was good and the staff were marvellous.

A small historic country/town hotel. Excellent food accommodations on same level as a travel lodge. Resident breakfast area small and would benefit from increased staff management. No onsite parking.

It's a nice place in the Peter Pan birth village. The staff is very welcoming. The food is delicious. I would advise you the Vegetarian Scottish breakfast : great !

My second stay here at this charming pub.
My only issue was where I was seated for dinner. I was a solo traveller and was plonked at the back of the restaurant amongst two families with very young kids. One literally screaming through my whole meal. It looked like there was plenty of space and other small tables, so I was confused as to why I was put there. Not ideal after a very long day of working and driving.
However, the fish and chips were up there with best I’ve ever had!

Loved its central location.
The staff were very warm and friendly.
Food was very good, though a tad overpriced. Best to stick to their weekly deals at dinner.
No adjacent parking! No risk of crime, but you could end up with a traffic fine.
