清潔度・快適さなどハード面ではカークウォールでトップクラスのホテルだと思います。朝食なども十分なものでした。唯一残念なのはとにかくフロントに係員がいない。朝昼夜問わず不在が多く、その度、同じ建物内のパブに行って言伝なければならず、待ち時間を含め人的な面でのサービスでスムーズさはありません。ですがその点を除けば価格に見合った設備と内容だと思います。

I arrived late for checkin-in but everything was left out for me so it was super quick and easy to get into my room after a long journey, which was great! Room was clean and in a really good condition. Bed was very comfortable. The shower was amazing! Very powerful and hot.

Clean & basic but comfortable. Street parking free after 5pm - 9 am nearby. Stairs & lift available. Had dinner in pub after a couple of beers and was good. Barmaid Anita brilliant!

Property is fine for a short stay in Kirkwall. Limited vegetarian options for food.

Spacious room, and an ideal hub for our holiday. Slightly off the main routes, but convenient for harbour, information centre, bus station, etc The main restaurant was fully booked on our first evening, but the bar area could accomodate us and had the same menu. Friendly staff and a good choice of food, so we went back there throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely room & ensuite bathroom. I enjoyed my evening meal and breakfast- food was very good. Staff were friendly and pleasant and very very helpful. On the day i was leaving, i was able to return and shower after parkrun , even though this was after check out time.I really appreciated this as meant i was clean fir my last day of tiuring in orkney. Id be very pleased to return.

The location can’t be beat! Our window was right above the entrance to the pub and did get a bit noisy. The bathroom was good and the bed was okay.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. There are no reception staff so its not welcoming. Its under staffed and staff need more training on how to welcome people especially at breakfast. The staff they do have are very nice. Over priced

Food and service in the pub was excellent. Breakfast was quite good, though maybe a little slow. The rooms are dated, but comfortable and clean.

Lovely accommodations great location and delicious food

The entire staff was polite, friendly, SUPER HELPFUL, and professional. We stayed in room 208. It was huge and it has a large bath tub which is always lovely.

Location and friendly

Great visit to Kirkwall! The Albert hotel was fantastic! It is an older property decorated very nicely! Our room was upgraded to a larger room because there were 2of us! The meal we had in the restaurant was the best we had in our visit to the Orkney’s. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone headed to the Orkney Islands
