行きたい場所へのアクセスが良かったです。

なんといっても交通の便がよいところが一番でしょう。料金的にもお手頃なのだと思います。 ①0階に行くと裏に出られ、駅まですぐ。 ②バスステーションが近く、ツアーを使う場合も便利。 ③エディンバラ城やロイヤルマイルまで徒歩で行くことができ、街歩きにも最適。 ④ショッピングセンターが近くにあり便利。

The staff are kind and the facilities are great.

I chose this hotel because it is close to the station. Another reason was the sports facilities like the gym and swimming pool. I quite enjoyed my stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has easy access to the station, and yet very quiet.

During my stay, all the hotel staff were kind to me. I have experienced lost baggage and needed help figuring out what to do. A female hotel staff made contact with baggage claim. It was a big help to me. As I mentioned something, I often heard sounds from the hallway and other rooms. It was the sound of shutting a door to the bathroom. It often disturbed my sleep. But this hotel is almost perfect.

We stayed 3 nights for sightseeing in Edinburgh,and overnight on the return day from the 3-day tour of the Isle of Skye and the Highlands. The biggest advantage is that the transportation access is good. Tram, bus center, and Wavery Station are within a 5-minute walk. The departure and arrival point of the city tour is in front of you, and it is very good for those who travel without a car with big luggage. The staff is friendly, the reception is polite, and you can spend a pleasant time. On the other hand, the building is old and the sound of outside is noisy. The room facilities are not easy to use, and the food is not a big deal.

Very clean hotel in a great location right on Princess street with tons of dining options and walkable to old town, the royal mile, grass market and the castle. The free WiFi was terrible and would not even load a basic webpage.

During our recent trip, the Apex Waterloo Hotel in Edinburgh stood out as one of the best hotels we stayed in. While the room wasn't exactly as expected—we had anticipated a second single bed based on the photos but received a fold-out couch instead —it still didn’t disappoint in comfort or quality. Upon arrival, we had a minor issue with the room lock not working properly. The hotel staff were quick to address it, doing their best to repair the issue promptly and even offering us complimentary drinks at the bar while we waited. It was a thoughtful gesture that really set the tone for our stay. Every member of the staff we encountered was exceptional—kind, responsive, and truly made us feel welcome. As a family, we felt comfortable, well looked after, and genuinely valued. The bar and restaurant were both excellent. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the barista-made latte was a highlight. While service in the restaurant was a bit slow at times, the kindness and professionalism of the staff made up for it. The amenities were a pleasant surprise—quiet in-room air conditioning (a rare find in Scotland), daily bottled water in the fridge, and a nice selection of teas and coffees, & toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, contributing to a restful stay. The location is fantastic—close to everything you might need or want to explore in Edinburgh, yet tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. We would absolutely stay at the Apex Waterloo again!

Very courteous and friendly staff. Breakfast included a good variety of food. A couple of mornings when we had to leave before breakfast was served, we were given a bag of food, so we didn’t have to leave hungry. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel.
