バスタブのお湯が流れなかったので対応していただきましたが結局直らず、部屋も変えてもらえなかったのでバスタブにお湯をためてつかることもできずシャワーも快適に使うこともできませんでした。それから深夜過ぎまで下の階でかかっている音楽が漏れ聞こえてきて静かに過ごせませんでした。部屋全体は清潔で雰囲気良く良かったと思います。

Felt dirtier coming out the shower than I did going in!

Lovely clean room and nice bathroom ( but these half screens do not stop water spraying from the shower onto the floor) It was a pity no porridge at breakfast? But what was there was very nice fresh fried egg and sausages were nice. Plenty of parking. We left about 10.45am but no one on reception . Stopped waiting ( bell did not work) just left room keys down on desk by computer.

Excellent check in with friendly staff. Room very small and noisy with no bottled water, coffee tea facilities stocked based on 1 person staying. Very average. However good parking and location public transport into central Edinburgh is good.

ROOM WAS OK AND STAFF NICE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS WITH MENU I IT HAD STEAK PIE AND MASH POTATOES I ASKED FOR CHIPS NO MASH AND GOT CHARGED £4 EXTRA SO WASNT HAPPY THOUGHT WOULD BE EITHER OR

Receptionist was charming, chatty and helpful despite it being 9pm when we arrived. Attention to the decor in the corridors plus the festive additions made the hotel seem very welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful, varied, tasty and unhurried.

The bed was dreadful? Old, torn and very uncomfortable I slept dreadfully. The room in general was tired and needs updating, initially I was put 4 flights up in a very small room but when I asked to be moved they found me a much better room so why not fill that first? The breakfast was the same every day? Shame no difficult type of eggs? Also the food menu online is different to the actual menu so why not update that? It was disappointing in general im afraid.

Nice spacious clean room, lovely staff and great food!

Lovely hotel in a great location and a lovely restaurant too. Perfectly placed on a great bus route direct to the city and moat attractions.

Clean, nice welcoming staff

Lovely staff throughout hotel. Dinner on rhe Friday was lovely and a good Christmas menu deal. Room was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift whixh was an issue as we has my 74 year old mother with us and noone offered to help take bags to the room whilst we ensured my mum was manahing the stairs. The room wad tired but had everything we needed and it was clean. Breakfast had a good range of options when they were available. Both morning's we attended there were numerous items that had run out and was not replenished, we were down for breakfast with over an hour left to go. Overall it was a good stay and ideally placed for a day in Edinburgh.

Room was slightly dates, wallpaper pealing from wall. But the hotel its self was lovely. Fairly clean, all together a nice stay and brilliant location for the price

Absolutely brilliant for our 2 day short break , celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday we were offered an upgrade and the room was beautiful . comfortable bed and lovely views , staff were amazing and very helpful . we will definitely be back! thankyou again for this stay !

Staff was very sweet and helpful! The hotel even had a resident cat which made my day :)

Excellent staff, clean room and hotel

The hotel was lovely and quaint, a lot of stairs to navigate on route to our room on 1st floor! All the staff we encountered during our stay were exceptionally friendly, our room was spotless with nice toiletries, breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices!

The hotel decor and facilities are a bit tired but the staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast was super. Free parking was a bonus

Turned up 40 minutes before 15.00 check in time, having checked in on line hoping to get a room key. No one at reception then someone turned up and told me to go away as it was before 15.00. Radiator in bedroom didn't work. Lots of the paintwork was chipped.

The was very clean but as with all older hotels a little wear and tear is to be expected. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Even Magnus the hotel cat was very friendly!

This is our second stay at this hotel. We got the same room 110. Is it the Expedia room? TV is about 7 to 8 feet high off the floor, and a foot from the high ceiling. Carpet is all rippled, a accident waiting to happen.
