Ensuite was across the hall and shared, toilet down the hall - not what I was expecting and floor a bit rickety underfoot. Actual room was good with plenty of space and a view of the bay and across Oban. Easy walking distance to all Oban facilities - train, ferries, buses, shopping, restaurants and pubs.

Good value, good location.

Christine was nice and very accommodating. I was a cute guest house in Oban. Close to alot of things including the ferry and has parking spots.

Guest house in a great location, plus our room had a beautiful view. Bathroom shared with other guests but two (maybe 3?) toilets throughout the house so no issue there. Quiet and homey. Wonderfully friendly staff greeted us. Lots of shopping and dining a short walk away.

Good location but a bit hard to contact the owner.

Friendly owner but obviouly the property was being revamped. Could not see any smoke detectors or fire alarms so we booked alternative venue for the second night. Free parking was a plus. Bed was comfortable.

Staff was great in meeting us there when we had trouble finding the location. Clean rooms. Great location

Many things wrong with this run down property. The door locks were loose and difficult to use. No kettles in the rooms. Sky light in poor condition and had obviously let in water previously. The front door was cracked. There was no central heating, replaced by oil heaters one of which was so noisy it had to be switched off at night. The WC on my floor was out of use. The only WC was on the top floor in the bathroom The bath room had no soap, but several empty soap/shampoo bottles. The toilet seat moved when sat on. The electricity was in very poor condition. Several wires were capped of with insulation tape. The light switches by the beds to switch the main light were not in use. We have photographic evidence. All this cost us £234.00 each for 3 night. We had no choice but to continue staying there as we had paid in advance and rooms in Oban are in short supply. We only saw the landlady when we arrived. The only good thing about this property was that it was near the ferry and train station.
