The owner was very kind and helpful. I stayed on the first floor. He heped me to carry my heavy suitcase up to my room. The breakfast was great! オーナーのコリンさんはとても親切で、留学先の寮に入る前の重たいスーツケースを運ぶのを手伝ってくれました。 グラスゴーからバスで移動し、Academy street前で降りると徒歩5分くらいの場所にあります。駅からも近いです。

Very clean large comfortable room. Owner was welcoming and friendly and gave us info re the local area. Great night sleep in a comfortable bed . Breakfast was hot,tasty and well presented . A quaint old building. Would return

Room clean and excellent breakfast.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were sad that they did not have king bed. Shower did not drain properly and was very slippery. The proprietor was incredibly friendly and helped solve the slippery shower issue immediately. He is very attentive and helpful. Good breakfast. Parking was a little bit of a challenge but at least it was on site.

Feels like home away from home!! Very cozy and inviting. Colin was the BEST host ever and the breakfast was extraordinary!

On arrival the host was there to greet us but this was the only time we saw him, the place was basically run by 2 young girls, the heating was switched off through the day considering it was november which wasnt ideal, the beds were so comfortable albeit i did have to move my bed to be able to see the television which wasnt ideally situated, overall location was ideal for us and ample parking for the 5 bedroomed accomodation

Colin is a great host who obviously loves dealing with his guests and making sure they are happy. I would absolutely recommend this properly and would certainly stay here again.

Lovely, welcoming, helpful host. Great location (short stroll into town), parking at side, pleasant room with comfy bed, nice breakfast. Enjoyed my stay.

The house needs a lot of "love". It is old and requires updates. There is a lot of mildew in the bathroom and arround the windows. The dust was rolling all over the bedroom.

A warm welcome from the host, we had plenty of room to park ( always a good thing) the bedroom was nice and spacious with a small but functional bathroom. Breakfast was excellent the first time in 2 weeks in scotland where the poached eggs where cooked to perfection. (I love a good breakfast)

This property is in an ideal location being a five minute walk from the centre of Dumfries Colin was a great host with a lot of knowledge concerning the surrounding area and the centre of Dumfries.

Comfortable and close to everything. We were able to walk most places within Dumfries. Hearty breakfasts to start the day. Selection of hot foods and continental options. Would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at this B&B , the host was very welcoming and gave us information on where to go, the room was clean and comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was the best I’ve had and I’ve stayed in a lot of places. I definitely would stay here again. And not forgetting the girl who served breakfast she was lovely
