The hotel is ideally situated between the airport and city centre. It’s about 15 minutes by car into the centre of Edinburgh, however there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel on the main road which takes you directly through to Edinburgh Waverley station. We wanted to visit the zoo so it was a perfect choice for us. Check in was quick and easy, the front desk is friendly and very helpful. Our rooms were clean, quiet and amply stocked with tea and coffee. Towels were abundant and housekeeping did a light clean of the room everyday. We had a decent sleep, the hotel itself is fairly quiet however our rooms overlooked a car park and occasionally we would be disturbed by the sounds of work vans in the morning- we had the windows cracked open so you can always close them and turn on the a/c if needed. Breakfast was standard with hot and cold options available. The hotel also offers a selection of Starbucks coffees to purchase and these are available all day. Overall our stay was very pleasant and I would recommend to anyone considering this as a place to stay.

Brilliant service by staff, location was ideal. Buses were available to city centre. Jacuzzi, heated pool and the gym facilities were excellent. We had booked this for our first girls trip to Edinburgh. The rooms were clean and tidy. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of choice. Loved staying here and will definitely be coming back to this hotel if we visit again.

This is a nice hotel. The exterior doesn't do it justice. The facilities are great. The dining area big and Starbucks served on site is great. Comfortable and spacious room. Overall cleanliness was good in the hotel. Sadly room 371 had mould on the bathroom ceiling that certainly could have done with earlier attention. The staff were polite and friendly. Adam on reception, went out of his way to be helpful.
