Driving up hotel is very impressive, lovely lawns, boar and deer statues scattered around and 2 wolfhounds guarding entrance Our hotel room and bathroom were massive with lovely views. Food was not available but staff would help you order in from local takeaway restaurants a d would supply crockery and cutlery. Limited menu in evening but was of excellent flavour and presentation. Beautiful lounge to relax in with some information about history of family who had owned it. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially VJ. Would highly recommend a stay here, too many of theses lovely country houses have disappeared.

A unique and comfortable hotel with a wonderful garden and view. The evening meal was disappointing - a simple menu is fine but it should be done well, and sadly was below standard.

Average food . Otherwise excellent in all depts !! Great great views . Very relaxing .

This place is as comfortable as it is charming. Our room was spacious and included nice touches like bathrobes, a towel warmer, sparkling water, and an espresso machine. Breakfast includes a freshly cooked item from the menu plus continental buffet, and it's all delicious. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant one night and it was fabulous. Finally, the staff is amazing. Highly recommend!

We stayed in a castle room. Very large and spacious. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. The staff were great. Vjay was great from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious.

Lovely hotel and room, breakfast great, disappointed with wifi. Staff very attentive, regardless of WiFi would stay again, however check whether evening meals available, we stayed on a Sunday and no meal service, would highly recommend Tuckers Inn, have a lovely meal there

Vijay was an amazing host! He made our stay, his kindness and eagerness to help made this is our top place we stayed in our 7 day tour of Scotland. I highly recommend this castle as a stop and stay.

Outstanding hidden gem country castle just off the A9 at Invergordon. Tastefully decorated, fabulous lounge saloon, spacious, whisky tasting with class, excellent one to one service. Breakfast inclusive rate. Terrific. Thoroughly recommend!!

It was located in the country, very quiet area with a good view of the region. Beautiful wood work in the lounge! Very pleasant stay!

This property was severely lacking for the price point. We have stayed in “ castles” before, so we know what to expect. Kincraig’s exterior looks dirty. The roof needs attention. There are missing slates. The windows need some type of weather seal to help keep moisture from coming in rooms. Our pillows and bedding were damp. The bedding was very poor. They did have a mattress cover, but instead of a fitted sheet, they used a flat sheet. The pillows were the worst! They were flat and didn’t fluff. The wallpaper on the ceiling and walls were noticeably starting to peel. There wasn’t any soap by the sink. Glasses by the sink were put straight on the surface, not on a paper doilie. We did not have any extra toilet paper and had to swipe some from the gents in the hall. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and hall. Parts of the shower were really dirty. The common room and dining room were okay, but you could see peeling wallpaper and water marks on ceiling and walls. The decor was weird, mixing old traditional furniture you would expect with contemporary stuff (glass bubble lamps). Breakfast was okay. Dinner was overpriced for what it was. They tun on a skeleton staff. Vijay makes the experience better. A young 15 year old girl ,at dinner, was also very good. This place needs a good scrub, new bedding, and a rebrand. The actual place doesn’t match photos presented. It looks more like a hunting lodge.

Lovely old building with many original features. Beautiful view. Only stayed one night, large dated bedroom and bathroom. Does not reflect the same ambience of other rooms. Currently doesn’t feel cosy due to its expanse. Could be lovely with time, current palette trends for little cost and by reconfiguring the room and making a comfortable seating area with a maybe a sofa bed so it can be a family room, two office chairs are not compatible with the rest of the building or comfortable. There is no artwork on the beige walls. The bathroom suite is good again it doesn’t need to be fully tiled just follow today’s trends. . A missed opportunity. Restaurant not open on Sunday and Monday a disappointment.

Bad quality breakfast, overpriced, friendly staff. Room not cleaned

our room was excellent - very big and spacious, comfortable, yet cosy too. We arrived late so didn't use the restaurant for our evening meal, but the bar was comfortable, and breakfast in the morning was excellent

Excellent castle manor building with a relaxed vibe and attentive staff. Great views across the Cromarty Firth and nice grounds. Watch for the ponies, rabbits, birds and roaming robot mowers! Breakfast and food in the restaurant is very good. Lounge and bar are very comfortable and the whole place is tastefully decorated. We had a large attic room which was warm and comfortable.

Lovely staff who will do everything in their power to help you. The hotel is a bit old and could use some new paint in some places, but it’s clean and the bed is good. The restaurant is nice and well-priced.
