Room was moth ridden, and somewhat of a downgrade from previous stays. Cheap prison soap, tired room and very much a B&B vibe, which is a poor show for the price. Clearly got the cheap seats this time around. Late check and early start so simply hid my bags in the bathroom and hope the moths don’t get in. All in a bit of a disappointment. Have stayed in worse, but paid a lot less for it, and not in Europe… If I was staying for a wedding or as more than an overnighter, I’d be wanting a refund.

Fantastic stay! Spacious room, large bathroom, comfortable bed. Delicious food. Wonderful staff.

Expensive for no reason

Outdated and extremely overpriced hotel. Pretty cold too. One heater in our room. Didn’t do much unfortunately. Very rustic looking from the outside which was nice and your pretty close to a big shopping centre tho.

Hotel has been renovated from a Victorian mansion. The rooms are very nice, tho the hallways are a bit confusing at first.

Wasn’t explained any information at check-in; had to ask about breakfast and check out time. Was shown to a lift to get to our room. Lots of moths in the room and not enough shampoo or shower gel for 2 people for 2 nights. Desk also had dried chocolate under one of the leaflets and dead flies on window sill. Breakfast was fine, staff at that were lovely. Drinks at the wedding were extortionate: the fact you don’t do dashes is ridiculous. Having to buy a bottle of Coke every time to go with a spirit is daylight robbery. No one at the desk for check out, I rang the bell twice. Another couple appeared to check out too (at 11am). Eventually a man came, no apology or asking how the stay was. Just took the key and said that’s fine.

Everything was excellent. However i would change the bed to a queen from a double there was more than enough space in the room also something to put our bags on.

First time back to Norwood Hall in many years and it has not disappointed us in any way. Staff were very attentive but not in an intrusive way at all. Very enjoyable stay.

We dined in-house and thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal of fish and chips, which was well-prepared and satisfying. Breakfast the following morning was equally impressive, with a generous selection and high-quality ingredients and excellent service. Throughout our stay, the service was consistently excellent. Norwood Hall blends classic charm with modern comfort, making it a memorable and enjoyable base for exploring Aberdeen.

Beautiful hotel! Very elegant and well decorated. Enjoyed afternoon tea there. Spacious rooms. Staff friendly and accommodating. Dinner was excellent. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful facility with great and accommodating staff. My only complaint was the room we had (528) needed some TLC. The paint was terribly scuffed on some of the walls which made the room appear neglected and dirty.

Big room, clean and modern bathroom. The automatic lighting for the bathroom at night was very bright, but otherwise a very well appointed room. The building was quite beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.
