ラプロック ハウス

We were 3 single women on holiday. The Host was very quickly responsive and offered solutions within less than 30 minutes. Location great for catching trains or buses to larger cities (5 min walk). Kitchen could use a few more items for meal prep, but we found solutions at nearby shops and thrift shops (tea-towels, spatula, larger salad bowels, shower-room floor mat, paper-towels). Overall, our stay was manageable because we had a positive attitude and spent much time exploring nearby communities. We cooked most meals in the house kitchen so the cooktop, oven, fridge and clothes-washer worked great! The young upstairs neighbor was friendly and kind and gave us hints on local travel. I rated lower on cleanliness because the carpets were spotted with grime, windows very streaky, and stains on the wallpaper near table. The single bed was very "squeaky" but sleepable. The description stated "garden view" so we expected a nice yard to sit in on warm days... disappointing... Back yard was a shambles of long grass, overgrowth and trash... Unkempt with pieces of wood and broken items all within view.

The house was misrepresented as for 4 adults but could take only 3 adults. It has only one single bed and one double bed. The toilet was not flushed and one of the three chairs was disgustingly dirty.

Poorly maintained, master bedroom door handle was on top of the cupboard and the shower hose leaks. Not enough electrical sockets to provide power to laptop and lights. Furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Bed was very squeaky. Overall adequate for its purposes and met expectations. Wifi details provided were incorrect, but its on the hub so managed. TV was only usable with youtube as its the only service available that didn't require signing in. No live digital channels available. Location was however very good for travelling and has easy to access to the motorway network. EV car charging in the area was very good with an ultrafast charger and 3 pairs of AC22 chargers in a car park just 15mins walk. Train services are also located beside this which is a bonus. The location is a bit rundown like the town its located in, however the locals are friendly.
