初日にオーバーブッキングで姉妹ホテルへの移動を言われました。無料タクシーがあったのは良かったですが、異国の地で不安にさせるイベントでした。暖房が壁のヒーターで分かりにくかったです。清潔度は海外ではこんなものなのかなという程度でした。

部屋などは、とても清潔で、スタッフも感じ良いけれど、過度に関わり過ぎず、とても気持ち良くすごせました。また朝食のパンが美味しく、バランスよく食べられる感じでした。

食器・調理器具付きで清潔度の高い快適さに加えて、エディンバラ大学のキャンパスのすぐ近くで、静かで落ち着いた雰囲気と、安全性の高そうな環境には大変満足いたしました。ごく近くにSainsburyというスーパーマーケットもあり、とても便利です。

皿やグラスも用意されているので、 近くの店で買った冷凍ピザなども調理できます、 エジンバラで、家にいるような時間を過ごす事ができます。

リピートで毎回利用していますが、出張時の宿泊として全く問題無いです。

Dropped our daughter at University of Edinburgh. We couldn’t have gotten closer to the main campus. Great location. All major sights were walkable. WONDERFUL buffet breakfast each morning very quiet and clean. 2-room suite type hotel with kitchenette and sitting area in separate room with tv. Highly recommend. Will stay again when visiting our daughter.

Perfectly located .... breakfast is quite crowded as the dinning area is quite small ... check in kinda late 4 pm.

Excellent food, plenty of options. My biggest complaint is not having someone at the reception desk who doesn’t have a strong accent. I needed help with a taxi and over the phone I couldn’t understand them and I felt very stranded in a big city

I picked this hotel due to its proximity to my office.
I have to say I was put off by the bad reviews. But I thought I’d give it a try. It was surprisingly ok.
Good points - friendly enough staff, bed was comfortable, room was airy, breakfast was decent and plentiful.
Bad points - pillows were not great, breakfast area pretty rammed in the morning and chaotic, room decent but a little tired in places.
Overall I would stay again, as its pretty decent and a good base for a few days.

Room was clean and kept clean with daily housekeeping. The Breakfast was sumptuous with a good variety menu. Hotel location is perfect for the city sights making most walkable distance. The hotel offers umbrellas to rent @£2.00 per 48 hrs knowing Scottish weather.

Convenient to all places we wanted to visit. We could walk or get a tram or train or bus easily. Breakfast was very good every morning. Rooms were comfortable.

The location was excellent, and the breakfast was good enough. However, there was a strong odor coming from the bathroom, and despite raising the issue, nothing was done to resolve it. Unfortunately, this significantly impacted the experience for me and my family.

The hotel is located close to some key sightseeing like the Greyfriars Bobby and kirkyard as well as shops and restaurants. It's right across from a University of Edinburgh campus and there's a Starbucks and a Sainsbury's about a block away. Breakfast items are the same every day, but there are ample options to choose from and the coffee machines are available 24/7 as is the laundry room. They even have cold cuts and a variety of breads to make to-go sandwiches for the day or to save some for an afternoon snack. The room had a mini fridge, a microwave oven, and a dishwasher. We were busy sightseeing, but we were able to have a few dinners in and save some money. There were items from previous guests left under the pull out couch, so the room didn't seem thoroughly clean, but when we brough it to their attention, they took care of it right away. The mattresses had pads that looked lumpy, but the beds were comfortable. Overall, while some things things could be improved, the casual environment made our stay comfortable. We were well fed to start our day, and we were able to wash our clothes halfway through our vacation, which was crucial when packing light.
