Wonderful people to assist me whenever I need something. Superb....

Helt okei rom og veldig trivelige ansatte. Utfordringen med dette stedet er at der langt unna der det skjer ting, tar ca 20 min å gå. Man evt. ta buss, men lodgen er langt oppi skogen så man må gå ekstremt langt. For folk som er litt ute av form så er det ikke så trivelig. Taxi er vanskelig å få tak i, man må kjenne en fyr som kjenner en fyr, som man har nummeret til og det litt tilfeldig om de kan eller ikke. Anbefaler å leie bil, da er stedet en helt ok rimelig løsning.

Séjour de 4 nuits, très sympa,a l'écart du centre ville, très bon accueil, voiture indispensable, chambre agréable, cuisine équipée au minimum, frigo et climatisation apprécié, nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du propriétaire Stephen.

L'hôte, Stephen, est excessivement gentil et serviable. Vraiment une personne extra. Juste pour le rencontrer, ça vaut le détour.

Good location near the beautiful Beau Vallon beach. The room had ample space with a large balcony. There was no view but it was nice to sit out there and I enjoyed watching several geckos on the ceiling. Decorative touches included making the bed with folds and folding the toilet paper roll. However upon arrival the top sheet of my bed had many tiny ants crawling all over it which they remedied immediately by changing the sheets. I also found the bed and pillows uncomfortable. The rooms are on the upper level which requires getting luggage up the stairs though fortunately there is a bell boy to help. The kitchen had a frigo bar, stove burners, microwave, toaster and hot water heater. Although I was required to checkout by 10am I was allowed to use a shower later to wash off the sand before my flight which was a great help.

Very neat and clean studio apartment, very convenient location, fruit platter, the owner has a very reasonable and affordable additional service such as taxi and drinks.

Quiet location, always had space for my rental car which should be necessary to book! Whenever we asked for help with our room or daily sightseeings, Stephen helped us and will remember his hospitality a lot.

Comfortable apartment with a big terrace facing west. Calm and quiet neighborhood in beautiful, lush surroundings. Excellent wifi. The bus stop and the closest grocery store is about 500 meters away, and two supermarkets with a larger selection of food can be found in Beau Vallon, 2 kilometers away. A small, beautiful beach which you will have almost to yourself is only ten minutes walk from the hotel. The manager Stephen and his family and staff are very welcoming and generous, and will help you with whatever you need during your stay. We felt very much at home!

Vuodenvaihteessa isompien hotellin hinnat oli "taivaissa" ja niissä ei ollutkaan vapaita huoneita. Jouduimme ottamaan tämän lähes ainoana vapaana olevana matkamme kahdeksi ensimmäiseksi päiväksi. Paikka oli pieni mutta isäntä oli todella mukava. Järjesti meille lyhyellä varoajalle läheisestä majatalosta uudenvuoden ruokailun sekä vielä uudenvuoden yönä kuskasi meidät Viktorian keskustaan seuraamaan vuodenvaihdetta. Paikka sijaitsee ylempänä mäessä ilman merinäkymää. Kävelymatkan päässä on kaksi hiekkarantaa ja matkalla saa ostettua eväät. Olimme varanneet parin päivän päästä samalta rannalta isomman hotellin johon isäntä lopuksi kuljetti meidän. Kiva tuttavuus.

La location est décentrée, et en haut d'une côte assez raide. Il vaut mieux avoir une voiture, mais il y a un arrêt de bus en bas. Merci à Stephen pour le contact très chaleureux.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. I had multiple questions about the area and things to do and they made my stay a warm and welcome one. I highly recommend this hidden gem to those traveling to the area!

Very comfortable stay in well-equipped and well-maintained accommodation. Beautiful view of mountain forest. Close to grocery, wine shops and good French imported foods store. Near the beach and restaurants. Owner very warm and helpful.

Stephen, the host, is incredibly accommodating and nice. We were very comfortable and pleased with our experience at Forest Lodge. It's a bit of a hike to the beach or the bus stop, but it's a pleasant walk.

Stephen, the owner, did an amazing job! The service is great! The room is big and confortable, but the shower could be better. But there is no doubt that the cost/benefit worth it.
