The hotel is beautiful, the area is very beautiful, green, great walking paths, green and pleasant. Not far (10 minutes) from the city center. So far everything is fine. We had a problem with the reception manager, whose name I have no idea. We booked the hotel through Hotels.com and I was sure that I had booked breakfast and dinner and tried to find out why the hotel only listed breakfast. In a pleasant way, without arguing, I just asked her to check again and emphasized that I might have been wrong. And since then, the reception manager has completely ignored us, and every time I approached her, I felt like I was bothering her, I responded in an unkind way until I avoided using the reception and managed on my own. Secondly, it is not stated anywhere that the entrance to the health center, thermal pools, mud pools, etc. are separate for men and women, and since my wife cannot be alone for various reasons, we could not enjoy these facilities (which are the main reason we booked this hotel), nor could we receive any response or help. The service was very lacking from the staff. Compared to the waiters who clean and especially in the dining room, the attitude was wonderful. I would like to point out that my wife and I travel to spa hotels once or twice a year and this is the first time we have felt uncomfortable. This is our first time at this hotel, which we thought would be a great experience, and we were disappointed.

If you like old world charm and elegance, this is the place for you. Delightful surroundings with serious healing treatments on offer. The only let down was the food, at times, but otherwise would highly recommended. Definitely returning.

Website unhelpful in relating spa services. Reception even worse. There was no doctor because we arrived on a Friday, and didn’t book it in advance. We were only staying the weekend. Women at reception all seemed perturbed that we were there. Not sure if they simply don’t like Americans or whether they are just burned out. Spa reception was slightly more friendly but unhelpful in helping us decide which services to get so I opted for the mirror pool and mudbath. There was very little instruction as to what to expect or how to prepare. All women were naked, ushered into first the sulpher pool for fifteen minutes, which was pleasant enough, and then into the mud pool, which was treacherously slippery to descend into on the stairs. We were instructed to put the mud, all over our bodies, face and hair. The only way to do that was to lift it up with my feet, which I tried. I ultimately reached down to get some into my hands but , I had a contact lens on and the sulpheric acid in the mud lodged beneath it. I was given a small glass of water to flush it out with and then told me to put a damp cloth on it and lay down. The pain got worse so I went back to my room and flushed it in the brown water that poured from the plumbing in our bathroom due to recent rains. Emergency room a half hour away, 110 euros for taxi, burnt cornea diagnosis, antibiotic drops and cornea gel for a week, patch on eye yet no one at the hotel seemed to care or offered reimbursement for the mud bath

The best place for the people to want to get the peace..nice hotel, wonderful spa, great food and music and warm people.

Great thermal spa with mud pool surrounded by well-maintained park

It is an old hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable and nice. Breakfast was excellent. Wellness is new. The inside pool and the outside one are beautiful. Staying there is very relaxing. The service is good. It is not overrated. We would stay again.

Das war wirklich gut. Schöne alte Gebäude. Umgebung war sehr Schön. Einzige negative dinge war Essengeruch im Koridore. Sonst sehr nette Personal, sauber, sehrschöne Umgebung.....
