The hotel was lovely, clean, comfortable rooms and a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were always friendly and ready to assist. Its location was perfect for exploring Poprad and accessing the High Tatras. Breakfast was great, and I especially appreciated the sausages. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Poprad!

Quel accueil! Nous n'étions pas sitôt arrivés que notre hôte nous ouvrait la porte et nous présentait les lieux. Le logis,tout simple, était propre et confortable. Nous avons bien dormi. À heure convenue, notre charmant hôte nous a servi un déjeuner savoureux et copieux, à un prix très abordable, tout en nous prodiguant des infos précieuses sur les attraits des environs, à savoir les différents lieux pour voir les montagnes Tatras ainsi que le charmant vieux village Spišska Sobota.

Simple but pleasent

Very friendly owners. Room was comfortable and breakfast (you pay extra) was good. The area is not far from the centre and train station, and right next to the historic section of town. Very quiet area.

Looking to getaway from it all? Well this is the perfect place in a perfect location. We stayed in Poprad for a few days and really enjoyed the area. It is close to the High Tetras where you can enjoy beautiful hikes and bike trips. The owners of Penzion Plesnivec are extremely kind and helpful. The place is clean, quite, updated and very reasonably priced. You can add on a nice breakfast for 5 euros. And, if you let them know that you are vegetarian/vegan, they'll be sure to have those options available as well. We truly enjoyed our visit to the area and to this penzion. We hope to return someday and would definitely stay at Penzion Plesnivec.

The room was small but very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Our host was pleasant and very helpful. We had a great nights sleep it is on a very quiet area . Good value for money I would certainly staff again.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Penzion Plesnivec in Poprad. It is a small hotel in a neighborhood setting. There were 3 of us and the room was large and comfortable with a nice décor and hardwood floors. The bathroom was good sized and had a nice shower. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed a big breakfast both mornings of our stay, cooked by the owner, for an additional fee. The owner was helpful with local tourist information and transportation options. We hope to visit the area again as our stay was too short. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. It is a great value for the amenities provided.

We loved this hotel / lodge. Family owned, the family speaks English very well and were extremely helpful in finding places to eat, bus and train times, etc. They own the land across the street with a playground for the kids and a garden (we could pick fresh strawberries every day!). The location was great too.... 10 minute walk up the hill to Spisska Sobota and a 15 minute walk to the main train / bus station or to the center of Poprad.

During our entire trip, this is only the 2nd hotel I would give a 5. Beautiful family owned lodge with large garden (we could pick strawberries every day!) and playground for the kids across the street. There's also a small playroom for the kids inside the lodge in case the weather isn't good. Breakfast is extra, but worth it. The location is great... 5 minute walk up the hill to the old town of Spisska Sobota, 15 minute walk to either the main train station or the center of Poprad. The husband and wife speak excellent English and are incredibly helpful and can recommend lots of things to do and see and places to go and even help look up bus and train schedules and prices. Overall an amazing place for the money.

The hosts were absolutely perfect. They are so kind to their guests, and they even prepared me a delicious breakfast to take with me. It is extremely clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place, it is perfect. I highly recommend it.
