We would come back to this fabulous hotel in a heartbeat. The owner and his staff were very warm, welcoming and very helpful. The decor is quite warm and inviting. Well done!!

Good location in the soca valley. It is a 3 star hotel With comfortable beds and an ok breakfast. The employees are helpful and kind. No air conditioning. Also, a small thing, but we got charged at their restaurant a ‘plate setting fee’ - this is not a custom in Solvenia and felt like a money grab that left a bad taste in our mouth.

Das Haus ist in allen Belangen excellent. Manager sehr hilfreich und kompetent.

The room was wonderful and the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the 4-course meal one evening and the morning breakfast with freshly prepared eggs was a good way to start the day.

Quirky architecture and decor which we loved. Excellent food.

Great place to stay. Unfortunatly we couldnt reserve for the restaurant, we heard that it is fantastique.

Our stay was ok, but nothing more than that. Room was ok, the bed was comfortable enough. It bothered us that there were quite a few tiny blood-sucking flies inside the room. We smashed one and it was bloody inside. The room 640 in which we stayed was loud in the early night and you could hear the upstair neighbour showering and flushing toilet. There were some other sounds also which may have come from the downstairs as the kitchen is right below you (something like a dishwasher etc. but very loud humming noise). Around 10pm-11pm we also experienced some food smell in the room. Breakfast was nice, although the bites were very petite and you needed to go to get food a few times more to get full. There is no warm option buffet, but you will be asked for your eggs preference and served eggs of your choice one time. Croissants were hard to get, because there were 4 pieces put out each time.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Bovec. Rooms are spacious but air condition isn’t strong enough. Beautiful bath. Great view and terrace Dinner is a set chef menu and quite expensive with wine pairing extra still. Breakfast a real treat in the garden. Very peaceful as the rest of Slovenia

Well worth the additional expense if you are looking for a special, romantic place in the Soca Valley. Extremely attentive staff. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent, as well.

Dobra vila is THE place to stay in bovec. Yuri has a little gem of a place running out here. The place just oozes class. Rooms are very tastefully done & the bed is very comfortable. There is a nice collection of books as well at the reception that you can borrow from. The best part about dobra vila is that it has the highest rated restaurant in town. When you are here, you need to have at least one dinner at this place. We loved it! I just wish we could have stayed a little longer at this place.
