It took me a while to figure out how to open the secure box containing my key card when I arrived after the reception had already closed, but check-in the next morning was swift and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and equipped with everything one might need.

Parking became a bit tricky. We were there at the weekend when street parking was free - but it became difficult to find a place close by. Not sure if hotel has parking spaces of it's own. There was a section next to hotel with an open barrier but not sure who this belongs to and reception was now closed so unable to ask.

非常に簡素である。そういうスタンスなので、そういうのを求めないなら行かない方がいい。 簡素や質素がコセプトです。 私はその考えにとても同意します。 フロントのおばさんはとても感じが良く、親戚のおばさんの様で、話していて楽しくなる。

Expedia Group verified review

Hello, we arrived at the hotel and there was nobody. After finding the phone number I called but the person did not speak English. Somebody sent a text message confirming that the boss forgot to prepare the check-in and the key in a box. Then later, somebody asked to wait another hour. We canceled the reservation. I hope Expedia has other better hotels. There are many good hotels in Maribor. Don't book the S hotel!

Bra hotel för genomfart. Inte speciellt mysigt med enkelsängar i var sin ände av rummet. Maribor är ju ett trevligt ställe men detta kändes mer som ett studentboende eller boende för arbete. Frukosten var sådär, kunde varit mer bröd att välja på och kaffet smakade konstigt .

It’s a particular hotel runned in an essential way. Rooms are simple but spacious and staff very corteous. I spent three nights at the hotel across the Christmas holidays and I was the only guest! Breakfast was being prepared for me only with a very kind and professional attitude. The only thing was that for three days my room wasn’t serviced, may be that happened because we were in the middle of the Christmas holidays. Price was reasonable. I will be back as long as prices will be kept as low as this time. A special thank to mrs Anita, very kind and professional.

Had been staying right outside city center and decided it would be more covenient to move. Place was great, friendly helpful staff. They let me check in early. Very clean rooms. Only complaint was location after dark. I am a female traveling alone and the walk back from my restaurant at 10pm did not feel safe. There’s about a 2 block stretch where I did not see once person or car and it was a bit nerve racking. Not sure I would venture out after dark. I’m sure Maribor is very safe, but it still make you think about it when you are by yourself.
