Old tired and terrible Never stay here

My stay was amazing. Simply amazing. The only comments I may have are for the staff to please fix the toilet seats in the unit. Otherwise, what an amazing stay. The pool was so clean ❤️

Value for money (off season), spacious chalets, friendly cleaning staff, well equipped self catering kitchen

Such a disappointing experience. The facilities and room are dilapidated and falling apart. Serious maintenance is needed inside rooms, to kids play area and overall property. The hygiene levels are not up to par The self catering unit offers mix matched, crockery and cutlery whilst the kitchenette is dirty and cupboards chipped and rotting. The staff are unprofessional and not helpful at all. We had to ask twice for toilet paper because no room service was offered. The safe didn’t work. There was no iron in the room. No wifi as promised. Just a very disappointing holiday stay. Still waiting on an apology. Pitiful service.

Modern units with all you need for a comfortable stay. Close to the beach and shops. We had a great time, will stay with you again

We were given the incorrect room, we were next to the drive way so the kids could not play outside.

We were a family of 3 and requested a cot or a queen sized bed. We had to sleep on a three quarter bed which was extremely uncomfortable. We had to use an oil rag as the dish cloth which wasn’t replaced daily. The shower was faulty. The cleaning staff was rude, moody and unapproachable.

Our Vacation was the best, from checking in We recieved world class customer service to the day we checked out. The lady who was helping us for the duration of our stay ensured that our house is clean and spotless. How I wish I could extend our Holiday.... Chaka Rock is a Home away from Home U feel comfortable and free. No nasty surprises or reminders of when you check out. It felt so much like Home.... We enjoyed our stay

This place deserves a rave review with the unfortunate exception of the security person who received us after hours which set a negative tone to our stay. Besides that, we cannot fault anything. The accommodation looks and feels new and pristine with all amenities. There are lovely touches like swings and giant chess boards etc. Within walking distance of Thomson's Beach and the Hole in the Wall etc. Lovely stay overall and I would be delighted to return.

The experience was very positive, bar the fact that we had no Wi-Fi in the chalet, and had to buy a modem from MTN.

The actual complex is beautiful, but the condition of our chalet was average. The chalet is in need of a renovation. The bath was black, the toilet made a loud noise when flushed. The cupboard under the bathroom sink was full of water and when dried smelt musty. The kitchen cupboards didn’t close properly. We told the reception, but nothing was done. Internet was shocking and most of the time we either didn’t have or it was very weak. We loved the balcony with its view and barbecue. Everyday clean swimming towels were available at reception which was a big help.

It was ok. It’s a little like staying in a fish bowl as people walk past all the time so not much privacy. Tv in 2 rooms but neither of them were tuned in. WiFi I was non existent. But it was comfortable and clean.

We had an amazing weekend, Very serene and peaceful with great views and god facilities Would recommend this palace to anyone wanting a break from the hustle & bustle

Great place to stay for families. Plenty of space inside the chalets but make sure you stay in the ones on the main site, not across the road in 60-64. Staff are extremely kind and helpful and moved us from a horrible chalet -63 - to a much nicer one , 14, then to a fabulous one no 3!
