１泊約15,000円で宿泊。オーナーは優しく、部屋は清潔で立地もまずまず。でも、15,000円に合うかというと・・・そうではない。至る所に宿はあるので、中心地にある観光協会で尋ねて、その日にお手ごろの宿を探すのを勧める。

It was quiet, well set up… short (1km) walk to the town centre through a nice neighbourhood. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable and quiet hotel: easy walking into town, especially for the tram - there is a hill but fine if you’re able to walk.

Großes Zimmer, sehr gemütlich, gigantischer Balkon, Parken, Frühstück alles gut. Man kann sehr leicht in die Stadt / zu den Weintours gehen. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Our stay at Gable Manor was very disappointing. We received no check-in instructions (despite being promised 24 hours before arrival) and arrived to find the property locked, deserted, and unreachable by any contact number or emergency line. After nearly three hours waiting outside, a neighbour helped us reach someone to let us in. We were never formally checked in, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the in-room safe had no key. The gate fob failed, and the aircon was set to heat at 26°C. Breakfast was poor — mouldy fruit, limited options, dirty tables, and most food unavailable by the second day. The property was misrepresented, poorly maintained, and unhygienic. Not up to Hotels.com standards — we’ve requested a refund and cannot recommend this stay.

Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft ok, wenn man dort nur schlafen möchte.

Nice stay, nice infrastructure

What a lovely place. We throughly enjoyed our stay - ideal location for getting the tram to a number of favourite vineyards. Everywhere in town is walking distance - perfect for leaving your car and enjoy the wines. An extra mention of praise is the staff, my fiancée left her glasses behind and they made the effort to return them safely by post.

Helaas was slechts kamer 3 voor ons beschikbaar en deze kamer had totaal geen uitzicht. Dat viel voor een verblijf in Franschhoek erg tegen. De omschrijving “de luxe kamer” ontging ons. Ondanks eerdere reviews met een opmerking over het gemis van een koelkastje op de kamer is hier niets mee gedaan, geen koelkast dus. We mochten wel een kleine ruimte in de koelkast van het management gebruiken. Ik vermoed dat we best wel een andere kamer hadden gekregen als deze beschikbaar was geweest, helaas was dat niet mogelijk omdat het vol was. Be sure to avoid room 3! Wel een gunstige ligging t.o.v. de Wine Tram halte. Het zwembad was niet zo appetijtelijk en de stoelen er om heen waren bedekt met smoezelige handdoeken.

Very beautiful area and property grounds with AMAZING service. Would recommend for sure.

Spent my last day on holiday, reading by the pool in the shade. Really cute place.

Nice B&B in a good area only a 10 minutes walk from downtown. Great service. Do recommend.
