My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Impodimo and loved every moment. We couldn't fault anything. The accommodation was wonderful, the staff was so helpful, the food was the best and the game drives were great and exciting. We saw all the Big 7. We couldn't ask for any better. Thanks Impodimo for the great experience.

Impodimo is the most incredible South African Safari Experience. Don’t even bother looking elsewhere.

Literally cannot think of a single fault! Top class staff (special thanks to Kevin and Joseph, our Guide and Tracker), top class catering and top class accommodation. The only thing we didn't have which would have been nice was a private pool but that's being really, really selfish! The herd of 20+ elephants that wandered through the grounds on our last day was spectacular - we were literally standing 10 feet from them as they ambled past. The hide at the watering hole was amazing - we watched elephants, antelope, buffalo and warthogs all drinking just a few feet from us. On safari we saw all of the big 5 on our first day - including a leopard in the first 20 minutes. We saw dozens of elephants playing in a lake which was brilliant. Ask for room 1 which overlooks the watering hole! You can pay more for some of the other Madikwe lodges but I really can't think why you would! We would love to come back.

Absolutely phenomenal in every way. Our game range, Marie and tracker, Holiday, were outstanding. They showed true dedication and Marie spoke to us about each animal with such incredible knowledge and enthusiasm, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The lodge itself is fantastic. You get real 5 star service, with excellent food and the location is second to none. The animals come right close to the lodge and really enhance the experience. We saw tons of animals, including all of the big 5 and we cannot wait to go back!

Declan was our ranger, and he was phenomenal, making sure we saw everything (big 5, wild dogs, hyena, kori bustard, etc.). All of the rangers and trackers are talented. Impodimo staff ensured my wife who has allergies (peanut, wheat) had plenty to eat at every meal. The admin, kitchen, and cabin staff were helpful. The cabins and lodges were clean and comfortable. Would recommend Impodimo.

Fantastic lodge and facilities. Great guide and tracker. Unfortunately the male manager was disgustingly rude, obnoxious and insulting accusing us of trying to "sneak off " without paying and chased us down the highway, unbelievable !

Impodimo Lodge is een echte aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een rustig, luxe verblijf met enerverende game drives. Wij zagen de big 5 in 1 tour! We waren zelfs zo gelukkig om een luipaard zijn prooi te zien opeten. Het eten is ook gewoon erg goed.

Väldigt nöjda med både boendet och safari. Vår ranger Rowan och tracker Sam bidrog till att det blev en sån bra upplevelse, otroligt kompetenta och trevliga. Skulle varmt rekommendera Impodimo till alla som funderar på safari i Madikwe. De flesta som arbetade på lodgen var trevliga och service minded men av någon tråkig anledning var serveringspersonalen inte så trevliga och såg ofta sura ut. Förutom det var det en fantastisk upplevelse!

Wir hatten immer wunderbare Game-Drives, wo wir die Big Five alle gesehen haben.Allein 4 Leoparden,9 Nashörner und viele Löwen.Unser Guide Ruan war zwar nicht der gesprächstigste und auch nicht emotionsvollste ,aber er hat immer versucht die Tiere zu finden und die beste Postion zum Fotografieren.Unser Tracker Sam hat ihm dabei wunderbar geholfen.Das Essen war phantastisch! Am letzten Abend erhielten wir noch ein Ständchen von einer Angestellten.Wir dürften für die letzten 2 Tage noch in Haus Nr.1 umziehen,von wo wir einen tollen Blick auf das Wasserloch mit vielen Tieren hatten.Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dorthin fahren.

Comfortable option for safari with high quality lodge and service. Great ranger to help and find all the animals. Highly recommended.

Great location. We had room 1 with a deck overlooking the waterhole where there was constant wildlife activity. The room itself was very well appointed.The safari tours were guided very well and we saw loads of animals. The staff generally were very friendly and attentive and the food was a very high standard. An excellent choice as a safari location.

We were fortunate to choose this game lodge and stayed for 4 nights in October. Our guide and tracker were exceptional and were able to find the big 5 with good viewings. In particular on this occasion we wanted to find leopard as we had previously missed out on these solitary wily cats but we were blessed with two sightings - once when the leopardess stepped out in front of our vehicle at night and on a second occasion hen spotted up a tree with her kill. we also made one long morning drive to view the wild dog pack - an endangered species. The lodge is delightful with pleasant staff and excellent food and is also abundant with wild life - animals and birds. It is indeed a gift from God.

Tolle Unterkunft mit direktem Blick auf die Wasserstelle. Kompetente Guides, freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Sehr schönes Reservat. Safarivehikel in oldstyle, ohne störendes Dach und hinderliche sidepanels wie mittlerweile z.B. im Kruger vorgeschrieben..

We stayed at Impodimo for 3 nights at the start of July for a fly in, fly out safari. The experience was incredible from the moment we were collected from Madikwe airstrip to the moment we left. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped. We were lucky enough to have a view of the watering hole which provided all day entertainment from the balcony watching the baboons, elephants, buffalo and giraffe coming to visit. Our guide Declan and tracker Sam were brilliant, making us feel at ease and really personalising our experience over the 3 days to make sure we saw as much as possible during our stay. It was incredible to see them tracking the animals and working together with the other guides in Madikwe to ensure all guests in the reserve see as many animals as possible (note - not many lodges have trackers which sets Impodimo apart). We were incredibly lucky to see Lions, Cheetah, White Rhino, Impala, Giraffe, Baboons, Elephants, Zebra, Wildebeest and more in just 3 days. The Impodimo team also take great care in all of the little touches. Hot water bottles and blankets on the early morning safari drives, a lovely fire lit when you return at night, tasty complimentary drinks and snacks for the early morning and sunset stops on the game drive, delicious food at breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner, hot water bottles warming your bed at night and overall a really friendly relaxed atmosphere. We definitely recommend Impodimo and can't wait to return!

No fence in the middle of the reserve was amazing experience

Il costo non è basso.. Circa 400 euro a notte ma fare 2 notti qui è un'esperienza da fare! Ci sono 2 Safari al giorno uno la mattina è uno nel pomeriggio. Tutto il personale è gentile e competente. Le camere sono fantastiche e dotate di tutti i confort. Concedetevi questa esperienza non ve ne pentirete.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. We have pretty discerning taste but that was not a problem at this lodge - they are truly incredible! The staff are very attentive and tuned into guests needs. The schedule has some flexibility (which most other safari places don't) and our ranger Declan and tracker Sam were out of this world fantastic! We will most definitely be back!

The place was amazing and the staff was more than wonderful and polite. We were able to see lots of game during our two-day stay and had an amazing time with our ranger Patrick and our game companions. Only con is I wish the doors were sealed better to avoid having insects coming in
