Muy buena ubicación cerca de la playa del Sardinero, zona tranquila para aparcar libremente, buena conexión con el centro de Santander y destacar que el personal muy amable. Desayuno buffet muy bien atendido. Muy profesionales! 100 % Recomendable.

Pésima experiencia, al llegar nos dicen que la habitación que reservamos con cama king y sofá cama no está disponible y que tenemos que tomar una con 2 individuales y que así es la política del hotel, empleados groseros, te cobran bufete de adulto obligado a menores de 1 año y 2, y si te llevas una mandarina te lo prohíben descortésmente, parking en la zona imposible, o pagas 20€ x dia o caminas 4 cuadras, te cobran x la habitación 30€ extra x día de sorpresa por niño de 2 años y no te ponen ni toallas, ni cama, ni almohada extra diciendo que es por uso de agua y electricidad, en fin.. pésima y desagradable experiencia especialmente por la “directora” de alimentación que además de grosera y desagradable se siente la dueña del hotel y retira el bufete antes de la hora, lo mismo la cafetería que 15 min antes del cierre ya te dan servicio de mala cara.

Hecho de menos unos enchufes para cargar los móviles en las mesillas. Pero esto en casi todos los hoteles en los que hemos estado. Muchas gracias al personal de las habitaciones, recepción y cafetería.

The location of the hotel was great .the cleanliness was very good .the only negative is the walls were very thin.we could hear next doors conversation

Nice location just off Sardinero beach; beside bus stop with connections to Santander centre, or a 25 minute walk into town; supermarkets and some bars and restaurants nearby. Pleasant to walk to Palacio de la Magdalena and Cabo Mayor from here. Building is unremarkable to look at, but apartments are very spacious and cleaned daily; but only a few rooms likely have a nice view. Staff are friendly. It seemed very good value when I was there in mid September 2018.

Lo único malo es que está un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad pero a una cuadra pasa un bus que por 1,30 te lleva directitamente al centro. Son unos departamentos muy amplios y cómodos con servicio de cocineta y hasta un balcón, lo mejor es el servicio, te ayudan en todo y Don inmejorables

The amenities in the apartment were abysmal. There was only one warped frying pan and one pot that had so much of the lining pealing I was afraid to use it. No bowls and the coffee cups we small with no handles. There was no coffee pot or way to make hot water. The front desk answered questions but offered no help. The TV played no English channels. Not the kind of apartment that is comfortable for several days. The information also said it had laundry facilities and I even called Hotels.com to confirm and when I arrived they did not. The restaurant was fillies with old men smoking every day. Not inviting to go there for a drink. It smelled bad so if you are sensitive to odd smells, you won’t like it. I think it is an old folks home that has a unit or two available for rent. Location was great, parking on the street was easy, accessible and safe.

Location is superb 5 mins from a great beach and the town centre and the bus to Santander,but the walk in is beautiful .Really helpful staff, excellent value, good facilities ,unfortunately the bed was too firm for us and the shower was a nightmare, both faults which should not put anyone off as the shower may have been repaired by now and the bed is a personal preference.

Parfait pour une nuita Santander. On y trouve toutes les commodités ainsi qu’un Stationnement souterrain s’il n’y a pas de place dans la rue. Il y a un bon restaurant sur la meme rue mais il était réservé pour un groupe le soir que nous s y etions.

Apartamentos situados muy cerca de la playa del Sardinero, con muy buenas vistas, terraza amplia y agradable, limpio, comodo y espacioso, buenas camas, bzño grande con bañera, muchos armarios y personal muy atento y servicial

Lo único sería mejorar la variedad del buffet de desayuno ya que es muy limitado, pero por lo demás excelente lugar!

I stayed at Hotel Don Carlos for a long weekend whilst visiting family. The hotel is situated a minutes walk away from some of Santanders' superb beaches and about a 30 minute walk into the main shopping area. My apartment room contained a small kitchen area with a fridge freezer, microwave and stove, lounge, dining area and balcony. The decor of the rooms was a little simple and the sofa bed could have been more comfortable for sitting on but the bed was most comfortable. On the whole the room was pretty clean but felt like it could do with a refresh. The contential breakfast buffet was well stocked with fresh fruit, cereals, pastries etc. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. There's a small cafe there and restaurant which has a good reputation amongst the locals. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Don Carlos but my room was probably suited to a family than a solo traveler unless of course you're looking for lots of space.

Good value, comfortable accommodation in a pleasant area. Excellent public transport nearby. Very likely to use it again.

Todo casi perfecto. Solo reseñar que los baños están algo descuidados, y mejorar algo la limpieza.
