We recently stayed at **Aparto Diagonal Suites** in Barcelona for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
The hotel is modern, clean, and offers spacious suites with a two-burner induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, and utensils, making it ideal for preparing simple meals. Our 18th-floor balcony provided spectacular panoramic views, especially at night. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Having a Lidl supermarket just a five-minute walk away was another major convenience.
There were a few drawbacks. The bathroom was quite small, and the hardwood headboard was easy to bump into. The hotel is also some distance from downtown Barcelona, so we relied on Uber, spending about $60–70 USD per day on transportation. There is no complimentary breakfast, and the high-tech elevator system can be a little confusing at first.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the excellent staff, modern accommodations, and beautiful views made for a wonderful stay. **Would we stay here again? Absolutely.**

Hotel was nice enough. However at 5am another guest starts shouting in the corridor and banging on other guests doors, including mine, waking everyone up. This went on for 30 mins. It then went quiet for around 45 mins and then it started again for a further 15 mins. The hotel should have removed the guest as it woke absolutely every guest on that floor.

This Hotel is only if you need a place to sleep. No services are provided. You can only get water from a vending machine, the don't even offer complementary coffee. The rooms are bare basics and the Air only works when you are in the room. The Hotel is far from everything and its more expensive to even get a taxi or an U er. If you just want a room to sleep than thats your spot but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

Empleados sin conocimiento del catalán, incluso algunos ni del castellano. Horario de piscina hasta las 21:00 h, pero a las 00:00 h se podían observar a varias personas con cervezas en la zona y con música a través de altavoces portátiles, muy decadente.

2nd day , night middle age (50) person kind of rude. Need to walk (20min) to Metro subway to see good places.
Ledl store just stone away. But overall stay is very good. Daytime desk people are so helpful.

Views from the pool roof top are amazing, you can even see the Sagrada Familia from there. Great restaurant and affordable prices! Bus stop close by, easy to get to the city.Peaceful and quiet, highly recommend.

First time here, I believe the hotel only opened at the start of 2026. The hotel itself is very nice, all very modern and nice looking. Rooms aren’t huge but all clean :)
My key stopped working and you have to use your key to use the lifts so I was stuck on floor 19…I walked down the stairs…to find you need a key to access the reception floor so I went back up to the gym and asked a randomer to press the lift to 0 for me. The view from my room was spectacular, I could see all sights…go to the rooftop pool, the view is UNBELIEVABLE Theres also a local Lidl, it’s huge so go in there! There is a few building sites around but that’s because they’re building loads of new hotels in the area…you don’t hear ANY noise. It is a 30 min drive from the Sagrada/Barceloneta beach, but an uber was €15 so that was fine! Really recommend this hotel! There is a restaurant in the hotel, it’s nice but I’d recommend going into the city centre. Overall 9/10!
Just got stuck with my key not working and the door to the stairs on my side of the building on floor 19 wouldn’t open!!!!!!!

In general good. Except for:
Reaching the hotel on foot from metro is a bit difficult. You climb a slope for 15-20 minutes, which is not very pleasant after a long, tiring day.
In 13 nights stay, they did not refill the shampoo, liquid soap etc. even one time. Shame.
The lift is not very convenient. Room cards should be scanned to use but scanners work badly. Many people have problems.
