Der Strand war sehr schön und angenehm. Sehr Familiär, es war gerade ein gutes Klima-nur Windig aber das gehört dazu. Die Dame Almudena war sehr hilfreich, konnte mir sehr viele Infos geben und war sehr zuvorkommend. Gerne kommen wir wieder:-) Liebe Grüsse

This is a very good resort in a great location. You receive this flimsy card key to wear around your wrist. Either it stops working or it falls off. You need a better solution. I did half board and was not too happy with the food. I only eat meat. There was plenty of it but just not that good. My favourite food item was the made to order omelet at breakfast. In addition, at breakfast water is free. At dinner you are charged for water. In my opinion, this is an injustice. Overall, I would return to this resort, but would have my meals at local restaurants.

Wonderful stay in the Royal room with hot tub overlooking the garden and sea. Comfy bed, quiet location and walking distance to beach and restaurants. Friendly staff and even received chocolates on the pillows. I enjoyed using the exclusive Royal guests only pools.

I thought that the property was well maintained and organised, positioned in an ideal spot to access Caleta De Fuste resort and / beach. I was fortunate to receive an upgrade to Junior Suite. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The Castle in the grounds gave the hotel a sense of grandness. Although the swimming pool was very cold, I did access it. I liked that my block (3) was very close to the pool and buffet restaurant. I liked that I could also eat in the other hotel and try various cuisines e.g. Mexican. My only improvement would be for the buffet food to be hotter than it was. I know in the Mediterranean there is a tendency not to have the food piping hot but that's my preference.

Very poorly equipped to self cater. Kitchen area was very tired looking, door trims were coming off and fitted badly.

Great location Room size was amazing Slightly random open plan sink / bathroom with no privacy. Ideal if there was a smoke screen in this area to get some privacy

Disappointing and misleading experience I booked Barcelo Castillo Resort for our Christmas holiday, expecting a child-friendly experience based on its advertising, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. My 4-year-old was upset to find the princess/pirate room closed, the pools too cold to use, and no toys available in the Barcy Club. The children’s disco was poorly organized, held outdoors in the cold December evenings, making it very uncomfortable. The layout of the resort was inconvenient—long walks were required to reach any bar, restaurant, or the gym. Speaking of the gym, it was at the far end of the resort, shared with Barcelo Mar, and so overcrowded that exercising was impossible. The food in the restaurant was tasteless, often undercooked, and required multiple requests to have grilled items properly cooked. The bar offered a very limited drink selection. For Christmas night, we were charged triple the normal rate, and while the dinner was nice, it didn’t justify the price. The only benefit was access to the Barcelo Mar heated pool and children’s entertainment, but this required another long walk, which wasn’t practical every night with a tired toddler. Despite my repeated complaints, staff were unhelpful and didn’t address issues like the broken shower head that splashed water all over the bathroom. Overall, the experience was far below expecand wojld not recommend. Definetly not coming back here again.

Es wurden nur die Betten gemacht, ansonsten wurde in der Unterkunft leider nicht sauber gemacht. Zumindest konnte man dies nicht wahrnehmen.

Mycket fint hotell, rent och snyggt. Stor anläggning tillsammans med systerhotellet Barceló Mar. Fina planteringar, gym och många pooler att välja på. Mycket stor långgrund strand direkt nedanför hotellen. Jag hade en lägenhet i delen Royal Family. Uppvärmd pool. Ingen brist på solbäddar. Mycket trevlig personal och mycket bra mat. Jag kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell.

I’ve stayed at 3 separate Barcelo hotels in the past 3 years, this is the worst. It’s a huge site, it was a 20min round trip to walk to reception or for breakfast/dinner. When there was a problem with my keycard slightly before checkout time, the staff were not helpful, apologetic or sympathetic. It was 10 mins to walk there, queue to be seen, separate ‘royal level’ reception wouldn’t even talk to me, pointed me in the direction of main reception. All in all, a 35 minute total to resolve a key problem which left me 20 mins to shower and get organised. Room cleaning staff only made beds and changed towels, not one thing else, it isn’t acceptable with the price paid and for an upmarket hotel chain like Barcelo. Restaurant staff and food good, can’t fault that. Bar staff didn’t want to be there, rushed drinks and onto the next. Bars need tidying up, the harbour area is lovely, but the bar and entertainment area could be changed and made a lot nicer and certainly cleaner. All in all, I won’t stay again, there are better hotels out there.

The activities by the Poolside was great! Very nice experience especially the Yoga on stand up paddle. Staff did a great job!!!

Quiet place, perfect for a getaway from city life.

Attention l’hôtel Barceló Castillo et collé au Barceló Mar les photos sur le sites sont trompeuses. Vous pouvez avoir accès au piscine du Barceló Mar mais pas à tout les restaurants. Cela dit le Barceló Castillo est très bien seul bémol aussi : il faut demander des chambres de 2000 à 4000 surtout celles qui commencent par 1000 car vous devrez traverser une route pour accéder à l’hôtel et les chambres sont loins.

Sehr nettes Personal und toller Bungalow ☀️Liegen am Pool sind nachmittags auch immer noch zu bekommen, Musikauswahl sollte man überdenken.Animateure sind super nett. Frühstücksbüffet sehr gut.

Das Essen wiederholte sich praktisch vom 2. Tag an. Auch schmeckte alles Essen irgendwie immer gleich; Im Speisesaal war es immer sehr laut - wegen der Bauweise, nicht wegen der Gäste. Das AI-Paket war auch nicht das, was wir uns idR darunter vorstellen. Auch das Nachmittagsbuffet war recht enttäuschend: Immer nur kalte Pommes und bleiche Hamburger, ausgelegt auf Zeitungspapier, dann ein paar Tortillas und selten mal ein eingepacktes Dreiecksandwich - immer mit Schinken. So ein spärliches, sich täglich wiederkehrendes Buffet haben wir noch nie angetroffen. Das gebuchte "Superior Bungalow" entpuppte sich zwar als recht grosses Zimmer mit Koch- u. Essnische, aber unter Sup.Bungalow verstehen wir etwas anderes. Auch hatten wir gar keine Aussicht auf dem ohnehin viel zu kleinen Sitzplatz: Die einzelnen Wohneinheiten sind rundherum gebaut und die Sitzplätze sind im engen Innenhof: Wenig Sonne, als Aussicht nur die anderen Sitzplätze und 2stöckige Mauern rundherum. Kein Meer, kein Hinterland - wir hätten auch in einer Grossstadt sein können, Mauer an Mauer. Und am kurzen Strandabschnitt, welches zur Hotelkette Barcélo dazugehört (links und rechts des Strandabschnitts je ein Hotes der Barcélo-Kette) und auch entsprechend beworben wird, wurden wir aufgefordert, für die Liegestühle zu zahlen. Wir zeigten unsere AIl Inclusive - Armbänder, aber: Die Liegen gehören nicht zum All Incl. Paket... Fazit: In dieses Hotel werden wir nicht bestimmt nicht mehr einchecken.

Un petit peu déçu de la vue sur mer en général mais on peu assister à un très jolie lever de soleil. Sinon buffet .. à ameliorer
