Wonderful from start to finish. Attention to detail was impressive, pretty looking hotel, tremendous service, fantastic management (Tania Fernandez), great food selection, lovely location, staff were helpful (Scott and others), polite and happy. The Barcelo Portinatx is the last hotel at the end, by a beautiful cove and tranquil beach very close by with the charismatic Carlos, who will provide music, cocktails, sunbeds and shade. Plenty of restaurants serving tasty food nearby. The Barcelo Portinatx has a chilled and cool vibe - great for adults. Complimentary drinks and an unexpected bottle of Cava and chocolates on arrival for our wedding anniversary. Above all else the friendly staff, led by Tania, made our holiday at Barcelo Portinatx a complete joy. Two lovely pools and pool bar serving great food and cocktails is heaven. Again the staff were excellent, very attentive and lovely. The rooms are spacious for two persons, lovely shower and very comfy bed and sea views were lovely. Everything you need in a room. Cleaning and replenishment of room towels etc was excellent. Lovely bar and bar staff with entertainment in the evenings and health events in the mornings. Wellness treatments and an outside gym are available. Really cannot fault anything. We came just at the end of Sept and Portinatx was quiet and chilled. Perfect for us and we would come back in a heartbeat. Lots to do outside of the hotel too. The hippie market in the chic San Joan De Labritja is close by and easy

Hôtel agréable et confortable bien situé en bord de mer. Nous avons eu une junior suite (plus grande que la chambre double supérieure réservée). Grand lit et deux lavabos ce qui était très agréable au niveau de l’espace, coin salon, bureau et terrasse.
Personnel accueillant.
Excellent buffet petit-déjeuner avec salé et sucré et disponible jusqu’à 11h ce qui était très apprécié pour « bruncher » quand on est en vacances. Merci d’offrir ce service 👌 2 piscines à disposition.
Bar intérieur et extérieur. Restaurant extérieur de l’hôtel à côté de la plage, très bien mangé.
Coin massages. Testé et approuvé 🙌
Un petit espace wellness avec jacuzzi, sauna et hammam serait un plus.
Pas de parking sur place, mais parking public gratuit à 5-10mn à pieds.

We had a lovely stay at Barceló Portinatx. The staff were excellent throughout our holiday, and we met some really friendly people during our stay.
The hotel has lovely rooms and fantastic pools, with beautiful sunsets to enjoy each evening. The pool bar food was excellent, the drinks were great, and the buffet was okay with a reasonable selection. We also had a fantastic meal at Los Enramados across the road, which I would highly recommend.
One downside is that there are a lot of steps around the property, making it unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Another minor annoyance was having to sign for everything despite being on an all-inclusive package.
The patio furniture was comfortable, but the deckchairs were not very practical, so we ended up moving the furniture outside instead.
Overall, I would recommend this property as a good 4-star hotel. While we enjoyed our stay, we probably wouldn’t return simply because we like to try different places when we travel.

I booked a room with a sea view but was given one without. The hotel said they would let me know if they had any cancellations and could move me, which didn't happen. They did however kindly offer me all inclusive due to this error
On the second day the jacuzzi from the room above was leaking into my room directly on to the television. I requested to move room but the hotel was unable to accommodate due to being fully booked. This meant that I had to stay in a room I deemed dangerous, although they said it wasn't
The following day the hotel sent someone to repair the upstairs jacuzzi which consisted of very loud banging. I left the room while they completed the repairs but could still hear the banging from the restaurant across the pool
My room was on the corner of 2 walk ways and directly next to the outdoor gym. Every morning I was woken up to people exercising and playing music from 6.30am
The bathroom is not separate from the main room. At times the sewage built up which created a strong odour, especially at night
The window and the patio doors did not lock. This was concerning as a solo traveller
Although the staff were friendly and polite I did not have an enjoyable or relacing stay and was very disappointed, especially due to the numerous issues that arose

L’hôtel est très bien, belle chambre, belle piscine et un personnel attentionné, le seul bémol, de la mes 4 étoiles plutôt que 5, le buffet du soir est terrible, viande et poisson froid, sans goût, ni saveur, ne vaut vraiment pas la peine. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est parfait par contre.

On arrival we received a very warm welcome, the staff are very attentive and helpful.
Our room was clean and bright, bed was very comfortable as we're the pillows.
The only downside was the smell of drains not only in our room but around the hotel I think there must have been some sort of an issue as there were a maintenance team looking at this on day 2 of our stay.
But dont let this put you off. The breakfast is a must, so well presented and plenty of choice.

This resort and hotel are really only geared up for good weather, and it was mixed in the week we spent here. When the sun was shining it was lovely but there isn't much to do in Portinatx when it isn't (public transport is limited). It also might have been better to go earlier in the season (we were 6 - 13 Oct), as within the hotel it felt like some things were running out and not being replaced, and many restaurants were closed. Overall, a nice trip but the quality of the hotel didn't match the glowing reviews we'd read on line.

2nd time here and the staff are what make it such a good place to holiday. Super friendly and efficient. They can't do enough for you. Poolside, more sunloungers than guests so nobody is ever chasing around for somewhere to relax
The maintenance is pretty poor. Just in our room. None of the USB ports worked, the aircon sensor on the door was faulty so we had to prod with a coat hanger every time the door was opened and closed, the back door lock didn't work, the ceiling fan banged on every rotation and got louder each time so couldn't use it and the phone in room didn't work. All pretty small but all in one room was not what was expected and easily fixable, the main thing was the aircon sensor which had obviously been botched before by the selotape on it! All were reported on day one so hopefully they got sorted after we checked out.

Great Hotel & Perfect Quiet Location
Hotel very clean and staff incredibly polite and friendly. Breakfast very good with large choice of fresh foods. The location is just perfect with a lovely mix of beach/pool & restaurants. Very close to a lovely beach/bay with a few exceptional restaurants close by (the Hotels restaurant on the beach - "Magical" is well worth a visit!) Our stay couldn't have been better!
