Casa Rural Arrizurieta

Lovely casa rural, sympathetically restored to provide comfortable accommodation. Especially enjoyed the view of the goats from our room. Lots of information about what to see and do locally. We caught the train from Bermeo up the estuary to Gernika, a lovely trip.

J'ai été très bien accueilli même ne parlant pas l'Espagnol couramment, que quelques mots pour me faire comprendre. La propriétaire ne parlant que très peu français a tout fait pour me donner des cartes en français pour faciliter mon séjour. J'y retournerai de bon cœur.

Rien à dire. Je le recommande vivement. Accueil chaleureux, chambre tres agreable, endroit calme.

Une étape à recommander à proximité de Berméo, de Guernica et de Bilbao. Dans un site campagnard très agréable, et un accueil très chaleureux. Seul inconvénient, l'accès en voiture se fait par des routes montagnardes avec des virages assezdangereux.

Casa rural muy acogedora, íntima. Está muy cerca de Bermeo. Una parada de bus en la puerta. La dueña encantadora, trato familar.

Lage an der Straße von Bilbao nach Bermeo, nette Zimmer. Gut zum wandern und erreichen der Küste geeignet. Frühstück kann für 4 € dazu gebucht werden. Aber - Ein Haus was "Ecológica" ist, sollte keinen Hund in Kettenhaltung leben lassen - nur traurig. Für die Küchenbenutzung wird pauschal 5 € (pro Tag) verlangt, keine Information auf den Buchungsportalen dazu finden. Der Flugplatz Bilbao ist mit dem Auto in ca. 25 Minuten erreichbar.

Casa muy tranquila, con sistemas tanto de calefacción como de agua hechos para ser ecológicos, cosa que a quienes nos preocupa el medio ambiente agradecemos. Begoña (la dueña) un encanto, nos dijo donde comer, que visitar y siempre pendientes de lo que pudiéramos necesitar. La única pega (que solo lo es la primera vez) es que si vas de noche, aún estando señalizado tienes que estar pendiente del desvío porque te lo puedes saltar ya que en la carretera por la noche no hay luz, pero nada que no se resuelva circulando despacio. Por lo demás, un sitio muy agradable, habitación limpia y cama cómoda.

A wonderful rural house. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Thank you! Our rooms were quiet, clean, and very nicely appointed. We had a great time during our short stay. The goat was our daughter's favorite. Two tips for finding this hosue: (1) The picture on hotels.com web site is out of date. The house is freshly painted blue. (2) There is a sign for the hotel on the side of the road. Watch for it. (3) Do not put the street address into GPS. Instead, put in the NAME of the hotel. (Our GPS put the address in completely the wrong place, but it got the name in the right place.) It is RIGHT OFF of the main road. If your GPS has you traveling down tiny side roads to get there (as ours did), it is wrong. As you are traveling up the main road, be on the lookout for the hotel, and when you see it, be prepared for a sharp turn and steep descent to the car park.
