We loved everything in this hotel, especially the quiet area.

Una experiencia estupenda para descansar en completa tranquilidad y silencio. Lo único a mejorar serían los exteriores. Por lo demás todo perfecto.

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal som visade stor omtanke. Hotellet är gammalt och rustikt men med modernt badrum och bekväma sängar. Det kan vara lyhört som i alla hotell men hotellet är omgivet av skog och stillhet som gör att man sover bra. Alldeles utanför hotellet finns flera vandringsleder och hotellet har en karta som visar lederna. Hotellet passar för naturintresserade som vill vandra i skogen och bergen. Hotellet ligger ca 20 minuters bilkörning från Marbella. Frukosten är enkel men med färskpressad juice och gott bröd.

El personal muy amable y profesional, tanto el camarero del desayuno, como la mujer de la recepcion, tuvimos un problema y lo solucionó muy rapido. Unico inconveniente fue que no había wifi (solo en recepcion) y no llega cobertura.

Good hotel. Only drawback; no 4g connection and very bad wifi. Drove 2 km with car down the valley to be able to check some work mails. But we climbed La Concha. And overall very good mountain hotel.

Great stay at this very Spanish Hotel, good walking from the doorstep and fab food.

Only one other guest but we were made welcome and enjoyed an experience.

I have stayed here several times over the last 20 years. The hotel has not changed at all, which is a good thing. It is set within a national wildlife park and surrounded by forest woodland. Wonderful if you want to get away from the crowds and have long country walks. The rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable. They include a "continental breakfast" but it's a lot more than that, with fresh orange juice, cake, toast, cheese, ham and fresh coffee - excellent. Lunch and dinner is superb - reasonable prices - fresh and wholesome food. The steak was fantastic. Only one major criticism - there is no mobile phone signal available, so you are very cut off from the outside world. That said, I love the hotel's charm and rustic character, and the food is wonderful.

The remote location in the forest gives this hotel a particular charm and relaxation.

Verouderd hotel in een mooie bosrijke omgeving. Zeer rustig gelegen. Geen gsm ontvangst. Mooi zwembad maar de wespen hebben het in beslag genomen. Sober ontbijt. Enkel geschikt voor wandeltochten of om tot rust te komen.

Only at the hotel for one night but enjoyed the stay. Amazing surroundings, slept very well. Ideal for nature lovers.

Loved it. So quiet and peaceful. The hotel is surrounded by forests and beautiful scenery. If you wanted to you could be walking all day. The room was very clean and larger than some we have stayed the night in. There was a space for a small fridge which would have been handy but there wasn't one. The staff were very nice and helpful. We ate in the restaurant most of the time during our stay and everything was very well priced. We plan to visit again in August for our anniversary and walk the Marbella route.

Sitio ideal para desconectar, del hotel no esperen mas de un refugio.

Hôtel situé à 18 km de Marbella ,isolé dans les bois ,pas facile à trouver malgré GPS ,il est nécessaire d avoir une voiture , hôtel ancien aussi bien que les meubles ,PDJ correct ,parking gratuit dans la cour ,chambres un peu sombres

Out there in the woods , quite and good for a terror movie, please stay !

Perfect for a country getaway, hidden in the middle of a forest with fabulous walks. Great local food on offer.
