Perfect location to stay! Just minutes from the beach. Highly recommend.

Extremely unsafe conditions – visible black mould and no accountability from management. I stayed one night at Hotel Kilimanjaro in October 2025, and it was one of the most shocking hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Upon entering our first room (401), there was an overwhelming musty odour and black mould visibly growing around the air-conditioning vent. The air felt damp and unhealthy to breathe. When we asked to move rooms, we were shown two others (205 and 110) — both had strong damp smells, water damage, and in one case more visible mould near the air duct. This was especially alarming as one of my friends suffers from asthma and another from a chronic cough. Black mould (Stachybotrys chartarum) is known to cause serious respiratory and long-term health problems, and clearly should never be present in guest areas. We informed the staff immediately and were told to speak with the general manager in the morning about a refund. When we returned, the day receptionist was dismissive, claimed the manager was not available, and offered no assistance whatsoever. We have yet to receive a reply from the hotel. We had no choice but to check out early for our own safety and rebook at another property, incurring additional expenses. If you value your health, I strongly urge you to avoid this hotel until they address the severe mould contamination and lack of management accountability. No guest should have to experience this

Clean pool area, and the rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard

Helt basic hotel værelse. Meget hårde senge. Intet køleskab. Altan med plastic stole, men uden et bord. Ikke hyggeligt på nogen måde, hverken altan eller værelse. Meget lydt, så man kan høre alt hvad naboerne siger og laver. Vi boede ved siden af festglade unge mennesker, der holdt os vågne om natten med både musik, snak og opkast. Hvis du vil have en lille smule komfort og have lyst til at tilbringe bare lidt tid på værelset, skal du ikke vælge dette sted. Positivt var ok rengøring og ok morgenmads buffet. Og også venligt personale. Pas dog på med at bestille taxa til lufthavnen hos personalet. Vi var 3 personer og af en eller anden grund blev der bestilt en stor taxa, så vi endte med at betale over dobbelt så meget for turen.

Mooi hotel, luidruchtig dat wel, onze wc pot was kapot onder. Verder mooi zwembad en vriendelijk personeel!

Bra frukost, rent och vänlig personal. Enda dåliga var att någon slags ventilation hördes hela nätter.

Die Balkontür ging nicht abzuschließen. es hieß es kommt ein Techniker der leider die nächsten 2 Tage auch nicht kam. Im Badezimmer hat es durch die Klimaanlage von der Decke getropft, dadurch Schimmel an der Decke. Das Tropfen wurde behoben.

The hotel is in great location. Just few minutes walking from the beautiful beach bay. There are supermarkets and many restaurants nearby. Easily accessible from the airport by local transportation. The only negative thing is the noise..the hotel staff should be more mindful of disrespectful guests staying in hotel that make a lot of noise late at night and take some prevention to guarantee good stay in a good and respectful environment for everyone.

Nettes zu vorkommendes Personal, Frühstücksangebot war vollkommen ausreichend und der Poolbereich war sehr gut.

Wir waren zufrieden. Nettes hilfsbereites kompetentes Personal Tolles sauberes Zimmer Super Matratzen Bad neu mit großer Dusche Frühstücksbuffet 👍 es war alles da😊 Pool mit Wasserfall

Das Hotel macht insgesamt einen guten Eindruck, alles ist sauber, nicht mehr im neusten Zustand aber für mediterrane Verhältnisse wirklich gut. Der Poolbereich war ok, wenn man eine Lige bestzt hält. Die Dachterasse konnte man bei 30Grad im August nicht nurzen, da keine Schirme vorbehalten sind. Wir hatten ca 20 Minuten Fussmarsch zum Bierkönig, einem kurzen Weg zum Strand. Hervorzuheben ist die freundliche Rezeptionistin, auch sonst war das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Tolles Frühstück und sehr nettes Personal. Schöner Pool, Strandnah und viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Gegend. Wer früher schlafen geht hat vielleicht manchmal etwas Schwierigkeiten, da nachts öfter mal durch andere Gäste Krach gemacht wird. Trotzdem eher ruhigere Gegend, als direkt am Ballermann. Alles in allem für den Preis unschlagbar, ich würde wieder kommen.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen, mitten im Viertel, wo viele Holländer sind. Das Hotel ist ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Nachts war es teilweise sehr laut. Auch das Frühstück war ok, habe aber auch schon besser gefrühstückt.

Als positiv ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis zu bewerten.Zimmer war zweckmäßig mit großem Bad,Balkon und angenehmen Betten. Ebenfalls positiv war der Poolbereich mit dem dazugehörigen Bistro (hier kann man auch den ganzen Tag gut verbringen).Frühstück war weitestgehend gut,auch hier kann man nicht meckern. Einzig die Lautstärke war nachts/am frühen morgen teilweise ein wenig hoch,aber wir sind ja schließlich auch in El Arenal ;). Von meiner Seite aus kann ich das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen!

Very helpful staff. Luggage room plus shower available to use once youve checked out and they offered free towels to use at pool or beach. Rooms basic but clean. Breakfast really good choice available.
