I like Hostal Marissal and have been booking this place for the past 2 years, as staff are kind and helpful, checking in is easy, place is clean, always accessible with the elevator. In the middle of balcon de europa, so everything is convenient.

Hostellet har en fin beliggenhet til strand og shopping.
Noe støy fra gaten/ torvet hvor det er mye mennesker til langt på kveld/natt.
Dobbelt rommet vi fik var lite og noe slitt og bar preg av at dette er et hostell.
Frokosten var den samme, med lite utvalg hele den uken vi var de.
Men beliggenhet og pris i forhold til nærliggende hotell, så var det greit nok.

Very basic rooms.the smell in the bathroom was horrible,like sewage,the walls were very thin,the noise from other guests was very loud.& building work across the square was very loud,no alarm clock needed here.the staff in the restaurant area were so rude,it was clear they did not like their jobs.i would not stay here again.

On line check in a disaster and many guests hah difficulty and gave up. There should be a person present to allow people of all ages to check in outside the two hours from 2pm to 4 pm. The on-line app was over complicated and not fit for purpose. It will. stop people from booking the hostel again

Great location for sight seeing, can be a little noisy in the mornings. Rooms basic but nice and clean. Time of year no receptionist so checking in a little frustrating. Buffet breakfast adequate if you get up before it runs out. Most staff very nice and helpful

Great location, nice enough room, but no front desk open for check in means it wasn't possible to get into the building without a cellphone with a SIM card for Spain. Also, a foul sewage stench from plumbing in the bathroom, and no front desk to request help from that problem.

Good hostal - clean and central, friendly helpful staff. Just a few minor things- no bin in the room (only a tiny one in the bathroom), nothing to hang towels on in the bathroom, a few hooks on the back of the door would help! No full length mirror which is annoying when you’re on holiday and want to see your outfits!

The location is great, with a nice street and sea view, although it is quite noisy. Jack hammer was working across the street most of the day. The room would be OK if not for a terrible stench coming from the sewer in the bathroom, so you have to keep the door to the bathroom shut and the balcony door open not to feel it. The furniture is shabby, the included breakfast is very primitive. This was the worst of the 6 hotels we stayed in during our Spanish vacation this year.
